Thank you bro, this crying is getting out of hand, i just commented a lil while ago on this very thing in another vid, ppl are no lifeing putting in 60+hrs per week and got the nerve to say they are bored or hating the grind, and this is a alpha phase 1 stress test not the game.
On one hand you've got a strange and scary avatar, but on the other you've got a good coconuthead on your nonexistent shoulders. Liked and subbed for the great video
I was channeling Invader Zim style of artwork so “strange and scary” kind of fits lol someday I’ll pay someone to make something better, but I appreciate the comment ;-)
My concern is all the rubber banding and terrible animations. This looks about a decade old, probably a result of the slow moving production making it's realism aged before it even releases.
this fight looked really familiar and then i saw myself casting songs and spells in the background haha. but anyway, great video. i appreciate you saying all this.
Eh, I joined the alpha phase late, so I definitely used those crafting and build videos to catch up to speed. Those creators are building community and practicing making videos, even if the information gets outdated. There’s nothing wrong with that.
Holly Shit where'd you come from? Are you related to Groot? How have I missed your content for so long? What the actual F? Well said, well spoken, ten thumbs up
So we've brought everything that we hated about the television and mainstream media to platforms like youtube. This place was meant to be an escape from all of that crap and yet here we are again. Such a shame... The moment money rears it's ugly head everything goes to sh*t.
Narc's recent video is a perfect example of the "doomer" mentality. He's complaining about leveling when it's been explicitly stated multiple times that it's not a focus on Phase 1 but rather a Phase 3 focus. He tried to justify making early changes by saying "People will quit if leveling isn't easier so there won't be enough people to test the game". Like what? Has he not seen guild recruitment on Ashes official discord? Most of the guys willing to pay over $100 to have access to an Alpha are usually the sweaty ass gamers. Trust me they won't stop playing the game because leveling isn't a cakewalk.
This makes no sense. If leveling isn't going to be a "focus" until Phase 3, then why the hell does it take so long to level? Why do we need to mindlessly grind so damn much just so we can pay to test the other features of the game? Ridiculous.
@Zigtyr Because they want people to play the game as much as possible. If people are reaching max level in a few days there is nothing else to do and people will stop playing. Why do you think Phase 1 was limited to weekends with the lack of content currently? Also why are you acting surprised? Steven has talked about of all this for YEARS. Don't come into the Alpha expecting fleshed out systems from the get go. People need to stop acting like they have been blind sided.
I actually like the build guides, even at this stage. You just have to look at them like theorycrafting videos, not actual guides, as you kind of allude to.
Hey coconut, are you planning on doing marvel rivals at all? I haven't really been seeing much of your stuff since you stopped playing DbD. I miss seeing your content, but I just any don't play a lot of the games you review anymore
idk, this sounds far too logical. next you'll tell me that people drag their videos out over 10 minutes to meet some kind of financial goal... psh.. ain't gonna buy it :P
people giving critical feedback during an alpha? they didnt delete the duped items, they deleted every item with a legendary tag because they cant track the duped items, despite lying about that detail publicly still no dynamic server meshing going into p2 is a major concern, 20yard render distance and slideshow dysnch is a major issue going into node wars is a major concern, rogue becoming available halfway through a wipe is a major concern think critically bro, mindless dev glazing is as bad as people crying about a bug
Nearing the end of alpha 1, I would say that the servers are stable enough at this point to conduct further testing with more diverse content and more features. Moreover, they could delay further, to wait for server meshing, but they would only see population decrease without gaining any new perspective on their improvements, or faults. Most of what you are pointing to will be more prominent in node war, giving them a better opportunity and a greater need to put more energy into those. Server meshing might never go live for all that I care. If they can do it with statically allocated workers, then fine by me. They could also wait until all is ready to be inline with a sheet of paper where you can read *subject to change*. Or they could test what they have, improve on it and insert when ready.
Nailed it. Great video man!
Well put. To many "creators" and "testers" have way over inflated reactions to playing in a test.

Even Narc fell into this trap unfortunately

I really worry about humanity some days. Thank you for the dose of humor and reality.

It feels weird watching a video of you not playing a swamp cannibal.

I should watch it again and respond. That might be fun

It's not even an alpha, it's fraction of alpha!
ALPHA PEOPLE ALPHA..ITS AN ALPHA
Thank you for this video my man, people are crazy these days, and jump to being negative so fast its ridiculous.
When's the next wipe?
The 20th

They are just content farming. Lets me know which ones to avoid when there is actually content to cover.
reality check which a lot of ppl needed if u have suggestion or idea throw it in dont make it so big for an alpha :D

Nah, shooters aren't my thing ^_^

Love it
I remember when your channel was built on creating the exact kind of content you're crying about here for Dead by Daylight
Someone wasn’t paying attention to the whole video 😂
SYNDICATE REPRESENT
Lol
100 faking percent!!!!

You do realize this is an Alpha 2 test and not a released game?
you could always go play more WoW classic lmfao

They wiped gear made from an exploit 15 days before a full wipe. The point was the message.
This is an alpha. It doesn't sound like you enjoy testing.
