@@R173Y Ah, you are correct. Only nodes at the village stage that are destroyed by siege will destroy those “vassalized” nodes under it. So just those stage 1 or 2 nodes are reset that technically aren’t real nodes due to not having the possibility of citizenship! Steven says this at 1:08:10 in the developer livestream from august 26, 2022 - Development Update with New Map and Feature Discussion. I remembered hearing this and thought it applied to all stages of nodes :)

I don't think the game is going to do as well, so many pvp games. People are burnt out, and they hundreds of pvp games are getting 6 months burst in playerbase then die off really fast. Pve games have a more stable playerbase and better social community that creates better longevity and lifelong friends. Pve is so toxic that it kills games off.
@@williamlaprarie3007 It is a PvX game and based off the content they have planned there should be plenty of PvE content for players to participate in. And with the introduction of the corruption system players will be turned off to open world unsanctioned PvP. And players who really want to PvP will have other avenues to do so that are sanctioned. I think Ashes will have the best of both worlds and players can find meaningful content in PvE or PvP settings without impacting players on the other side
@@williamlaprarie3007 I was killing grem the other day, kind of tried to bully my way into the spot. I'm level 10, and someone was there, lvl 4. Flagged up, and hit me. Now, obviously I could have killed him, and he knew that. But I moved along, because what lvl 4 hits a lvl 10, y'know? It was an appropriate response from him to not get bullied. He may have had a lvl 25 around the corner. But because he had the option to flag up, made that situation so unique, and very nice to experience.
