Hi Friends, in this video i will show you how to enable boot option in Asus F550 Laptop to install Windows 7, 8 or 10 from Bootable Usb Drive. This asus 500 series screen touch laptop. When you this laptop there is not any option to boot from USB , DVD ROM or Hard Drive in default bios settings. It is possible to change some settings in bios setup , but many people confuse by changing settings but the boot option is not appearing. Hello bro... This is the same process for Asus A456UR..?? Because the origins windows for this laptop is Windows 10 which is not good for me in using...Planning to changes the windows to windows 7...
May be not same on your laptop , because bios are not same in different model of Asus Laptops :) You have to solve watching some hint from my video like "mathematics" :)
Rozalimi Ismail be careful, because if there are no windows 7 drivers (for some newer laptops are only win 8.1 and 10 drivers) you might have some issues with wifi or other. so first go to the asus website and check if there are drivers ;)
Manuel Auer You are correct. I've done some research about that. So, be careful for those who want downgrade their latest laptop model to Windows 7. Asus not provide any driver on Windows 7 for my model.
If you Can't find the windows 7 drivers on Asus Website , then Try Driver Pack Solution , i installed drivers from here : drp.su/en

Ive been using asus laptop too and it looks like the laptop that i used has the same error like u so ive watched most of the videos about how to fix them and none of them helps, then i searched how to fix via asus laptop and i came acrossed u and wow thx so much it works! :D

I’ve been using Ubuntu and Windows on my Asus laptop for 4 months, and both work fine.

I just want to share my own experience on configuration problems, which I came into and which are not covered in the video.
1. There are 2 modes an operating system can be installed in: BIOS (Legacy) and UEFI. You have to install both your OSes in the same mode! On Windows there is a way to lookup which one it is installed in. When loading Ubuntu from USB, you’re provided with both options; just choose the mode in which you have your Windows installation.
Note: If you load Ubuntu in the different mode, it’s not going to recognize your Windows installation.
2. Despite the fact Ubuntu DID recognize Windows, it did NOT suggest me to install itself alongside it. I had to do it manually: allocate a partition on the space shrinked for Ubuntu and tell it to make installation exactly on this partition. And here is one more thing: I couldn’t allocate more than 4 partitions on my drive (neither Windows Disk Manager not Ubuntu installer could do that), so I had to leave my Windows with 3 partitions in order to allocate one more for Ubuntu.
Hope these helps for someone facing the same issues.

i did everything you did but "when all boot options are enabled" and you hit "enter", for me, it took me back to where the problem statement "Reboot and Select proper boot device or ....................." was appearing instead of showing "windows logo" !

Hi when i open USB Configuration it shows Legacy USB Support and USB Mass Storage Driver support i doesn't shows XHCI Pre_Boot mode what do you think it is ?
Just Leave it and disable the secure Boot , and enable the launch csm. Lets see what happen !!

Thanks for this video. Eventually this worked for me, on an Asus Q400A laptop (~2012)... doing some combination of these things in a certain order. Not SURE if all settings matched this video. Prior, I had been unable to get anything in the boot menu (ESC) except for the windows drive. Then finally, I got HDD + USB + DVD choices. Was then able to load win7 setup via my custom Easy2Boot USB drive.
Then... free upgrade to Win 10 pro :)

also i *think* i had to change settings back, afterward, to get DVD drive working.
Do we have to change the bios back to its original after the setup? I followed your procedure and it started installing. But after installation, my computer is showing some command lines "grub" on startup.
Try to Turn off network boot , may be work :)

bootrec.exe/fixBoot

I am almost there however I got a problem I am getting an error when I chose Sandisk , the error is “Legacy boot of UEFI media , It cannot boot in BIOS/ Legacy Mode “ If u want to boot this drive in BIOS , “ it suggested me to use the follwing : “Partition scheme MBR , Target system BIOS “, but when i checked ur video , Bootable USB drive at 2:22 seconds , when you pressed Select ( beside the Boot selection) and chose Windows 10, the partition automatically changed from MBR to GPT , and Target sytem from BIOS to UEFI , i am almost there please help me

no your C: drive will be formatted in this process , rest D: or E: drive will not affected by this process if you don't do a new partition.

i cannot create disk partition after following all the steps for insalling.
the option is greyed out please reply what can be done.
Try to delete all partition and create fresh partitions :)
