  • Couldn't use the phaser tone because we had just gotten our new siren speaker installed and the extra tones switch was turned off.

      unknowsoul000 … if you ever join or have joined the emergency services ... after my 35yrs ... you'll understand that you have preplanned routes (designed by the Fire Commissioner's)
      ALSO ... Unknowsoul000, After years of Firefighter fatalities, NFPA released several suggestions. NIOSH, CDC & a couple others have made such suggestions as well. You see, in technical terms, there is nothing Neither soft, medium or hard. silly beaded edgesbrands are going to make any of those big city types of equipment ... because we all die the same.

    Code 3? You would have passed your road test here in NY with that display of safe driving. You must have snapshot by progressive and you get the safe driver discount.

    It was a good Code 3 response. Just amazed at the number of commenters know what Code 3 means. I have talked with cops in Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky and they don't have a clue what Code 3 means. Actually, that pretty much sums up the way they respond to most calls for service, they don't have a clue.

      +Danman16 If you notice at about 0:10 the manual tone goes off. The installer flipped the switch on the wiring box that turned off the other tones. I turned them back on when I got home.

    Plan on going into law enforcement so the fact we're in the same area so we'll have the same dumbasses not yielding is great, lol.

    What vehicle is this? Because the siren sounds like the police cars in Toronto, is this a fire truck or cop, or ambulance? Good video though.

    • @GTAEmergencyVideography
      @GTAEmergencyVideography 5 років тому +1

      Siren is a Code 3 RLS, used by Toronto Police on the crown victoria's before they switched over to the Taurus'. I believe Quinn is what you call "fire police" and they help with traffic control and stuff like that when on scene...someone correct me if im wrong lol

      ***** Its because more than half the people in North America don't know what turn signals, and mirrors are.

      Elites Engineering Not sure what type of vehicle he is in. That probably plays a part in it. Since it isn't a official vehicle my guess people do a double take and hesitate for a second till they realize that is the car with the lights and sirens.

      We're only allowed to run 10mph over the posted speed limit. Other factors are heavy traffic, failure to yield and weather.

    It's good you want to go safely but it takes you way to long if your rolling code, maybe a little faster and why are you calling in from so far away? Almost 7 mins to get to scene. You also may want to lock down the camera your using it is way to jumpy by hand! Good luck and stay safe.

    Why do you fuck with the siren so much? I understand the horn and shit but changing it from hi-lo to wail and then yelp I don't get it. The hi-lo sounds like shit as well lol. Just in case you are wondering how I know the sirens, I am a Firefighter in Delaware.
