Dolores' voice really captured the anguish the song speaks of. Tommy's voice captured the anger and frustration. Addie, the growl to cry, dang it. Just... dang it.
Imagine Tommy and Addie duet... I can't even process how much emotion and raw power it would contain!

I didn’t expect the original lyrics given the reference to Bad Wolf’s version, which has updated lyrics. God I love this song, it rends at the heart with raw emotion. Dolores will aways be remembered! Thank you, Holocene! We needed this. I needed this.

The Cranberries definitely produced one of the best songs ive ever heard including that iconic video that no one will ever forget when bad wolves did their version of the song it was absolutely quality and I have encouraged people to check out both versions of the song for a long time and here I am now listening to your version and it's just as incredible and I encourage everyone to check it out because it's fantastic.

I actually like Bad Wolves version of the song the least.
A strong female vocal is just something you can't take away from that song.
I never liked Bad Wolves cover not only do they seem to very generic sounding but I felt it lacked the emotion of the original, it felt more like they thought it was just a cool song disregarding what it's actually about, maybe that isn't true but that was my impression.

And the awesome Bands like Halocene making these covers make it to my homepage and in that way i discover their own music so i can add those to my library. keeping my collection growing just like the memory's you created in life. I've watched this at least a dozen times. The 90s music scene was such an interesting time and songs like this were ahead of their time. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the cover by Bad Wolves, and this is an amazing "blend'.
Im a hardcore metal fan, but Zombie is my all time favourite song, and Bad Wolves did such an amazing rendition with a hell of a sad backstory to it with O'Riordan dying that very day. This does it just as much justice.

Something I like to do is put this version and Gabriella's version on at the same time. The orchestra approach and the rock approach playing at the same time (Preferably on the same device so it mixes better) sounds just so amazing. Both versions are amazing but put together is truly an experience.

Dolores O'Riordan was supposed to be meeting with Bad Wolves to record their cover later on the same morning she was found dead in a bathtub. Apparently she got drunk, decided to take a bath, passed out in it, and drowned.
The live version of Bad Wolves' cover is amazing. Got a chance to see them in 2019 before COVID shut down concerts. It's dripping with the poignancy that the song was meant to reflect.

The cool thing is that Bad Wolves donated the money from their cover to Dolores oriordans (pretty sure I misspelled that) children. I am not a big fan of Bad Wolves but they killed this cover, and gained a lot of respect from me because ofnit
