I was expecting this to be wrong. But every point made is valid. Wonderful to see people making videos that will help out newer and more veteran players.
+mrperson132 glad you found value my dude, that's huge and I appreciate you letting me know! Always great to make videos that I enjoy but also help others in some way.
I just wanted to say Rayn, that it's so incredible of you to bring out these videos to teach everyone how to become a better smite player. In all honesty, your own mentality is just amazing and I love learning from people like you. All your videos really have helped me, and thousands of others I know it! So stay awesome with your content because you deserve more subs than this!
Fantastic video again man!! This has been by far my favorite series and it's clear how much love, attention and detail you put into these. Also got to say, some of those snipes were hot!. I've been working a bit on getting better at mages especially since I'm so used to playing hunters that it feels weird to have to wait for cooldowns to do anything :P. Being a bit more patient and just waiting for the right opportunity to us my abilities instead of using them early on really makes a difference. I know I'll never be amazing at a mage but every now and then when I do have to fill the role I want to make sure I can do the best I can.
Just discovered you yesterday and I've just been going through all your uploads. Not necessarily for smite help, but more so for your positive attitude and outside the box outlook on things. Loving your channel bro. Glad I subbed.
Raynday's passive-Devine Presence-Raynday speaks for every 6 seconds and allies around him will be motivated giving them an atk speed buff and damage buff for 10 seconds
Thank u for ur videos!! I started playing smite abt 2 months ago and struggled up to level 24 mainly only playing mages. A few days ago started watching videos on gameplay and with a random youtube search found u. I have only watch abt 5 in between gameplay, but now I'm a level 28 and I play without struggle now. I feel I'm still a beginner but I have went from 2/15/8 to 5/2/18(for example average) and I still lose more than I win, I def have more confidence now that I will get really good. Thank you!!!!
Hey, thanks Raynday. I watched this video and kept in mind these tips for my next few games. I didn't die for 3 games straight, and got 6-8 kills per game. These tips are really good
Very informative video..not sure why some people think the video wouldn't offer any good info for new players. Hell, I'm a seasoned player and still learned at least one thing from the video so it was definitely worth a watch! Thanks for the tips bruh keep doing what you do!!
Raynday...these videos are too good man >_> You should make videos on tactics too like Rotations, Counter-Builds, Counter-Picks and Team Composition. Seriously dude idk how you script these but they flow so well it's like you've been teaching for years...keep it up dude!
Thank you my friend! To be honest they are all one take, so I record them line after line with no script, just flowing with what I feel I should say next. When it sounds good, and I think the point is covered, I move on to the next line/joke/whatever. Almost always how I've worked and it makes for a very creative, in the moment flow. Only thing I have scripted before hand are the bullet points of the lists. For instance, what the top 5 ways to be a better mage are lol. I don't make that up on the spot.
Hey dude loved the video mage player here and also UA-camr those tips were good my position some times is my biggest weakness I have been a nox main a while and recent convert to the baron as well
Love your vid. Can't wait to see your Top 5 ways to become a better Warrior player. I know you will see more Hercules players more often after you made that vid, because i will be one of them.
+Afrika Smith check it out, I already made that video! Go to my channel and you'll see the how to be a better player series and all of the videos there. I only don't have hunters done!
Yo, I've wait for videos like this from you just to learn more, and perfect what I know and teach to others, and it's great how you learn the same things you know from the perspective and view of another person, keep it up Raynday, I'll be waiting for the last role which is the one role trying to main and get better, the hunter :D
Hey Raynday, thanks so much for these videos, I'm new to smite and my Bellona and Amaterasu games improved leaps and bounds after you're warrior video. Looking forward to improving my mid-lane games now
Great video! Positioning and understanding ability utility is important. As an Ah Puch main, it feels great to completely end an unfavorable teamfight by laying down my ultimate and watching everyone scatter. lol. Can't wait for your video on hunters, the class I'm the worst at.
i really appreciate you as a smite player and as a mentor for smite because i have gotten much better at smite from your videos. you actually explain so much more then pros do. it helps alot and thank you! keep up the great work.
Very informative, Wish i had this when i first started playing. I love the Video man. Keep up the amazing content. Your videos always make me smile and make me want to be a better smite player. This made my day along with playing a Casual and seeing Zapman in my game. I wish you the best of luck with all your goals and dreams. :D
Another great video Raynday. I love these how to vids and they're helping me to become a better Smite player-so keep it up. Btw, have any open spots in your clan?
Thank you so much for this guide, I'm the rare player who got the support and solo roles down easily but struggles with anything glass cannon-ey, and I always dread going midlane, but hopefully this will help
just throw yourself in, i played janus mid earlier and never played mid before in conquest. i did surprisingly well and ended up with the 2nd most kills on my team. just position yourself right and watch out for ganks. also don't over extend
wow, i really enjoy your vids, not just the content, but the message you left on top of it, how you are always that positive , one of my favorite youtubers and content-creator, no doubt
Great video, i really love your tips, they are very helpful. In my opinion the rule number 3 could be changed to "count your mana and cooldowns". Not killing or not escaping because part of your kit is down when engaging/overstepping can prove to be as fatal as lack of mana. That doesn't mean your CDR must be as high as possible because that might actually kill your potential depending on how you build, but you must know when your skills are avaliable, and if you recklesly use part of your kit when it will be useable again. -EXAMPLE- try zoning enemies out of your tower with zk expose evil (1) right before a wave, and you wont be using it to heal and stack your passive when you really need to, even if the rest of your kit is up.
Well, there you go again Ranyday, making a top video, bringing all the good and helpful informations to improve our mage play, making me laugh here and there and of course not to mention the goosebumps at the end as well.. I know why I always keep watching you with such a hype and leaving you like always the like you deserve man - keep up the goood work and have a wonderful day sir.
Thanks for this!! Will be sharing with my friends who want to learn to mage. Being a mage main myself it was a great refresher video!! I will be working on counting my mana for sure now!! Thanks man!
Yeah this was actually helpful. Most others just like to hear themselves talk but you brought up valid points and in hindsight of course I knew I should have been doing some of these that I wasn't. Thank you.
There is an option in the settings that shows the mana cost of each ability in the corner of it's icon on your ability bar. It still means that you would be doing on-the-go math, but it greatly facilitates it. I personally play with this on all the time. I figure that the more information that I have, the better.
Rayn, I really enjoy these videos. thank you very much for sharing such great ideals for your thoughts on different roles, and providing such clear and specific examples. they genuinely have been helping me to better myself when it comes to playing smite. I really do appreciate and enjoy the effort you put into your content.
your magic exceeds that of Harry Potter's Raynday. You are the Origin of magic. Hirez got the whole "mage" thing from looking at you. keep up the good work
*Positioning!* I die a little (particularly when playing support) when I watch my mage teammate try to run up as frontline damage. I'm typically alright with staying in the back lines, but I'm still only meh as most mages 'cause I can't hit any abilities. I'm notoriously bad at landing the Scylla ult.
I have a suggestion for a video Rayn! How about "How to adapt" I get caught out in a few games not knowing what to build for the current situation. Do I choose health, defense or power? I struggle trying to get it right and usually stick to what I think works best, but ultimately it isn't always right. Would love some help and I'm sure some others would. Keep up the good work and I hope you hit that 50k soon enough!
play him super sneaky, and jump people when they aren't paying attention or at low health. he's really strong if you use your 2 before you jump people, but you'll die very fast, so make sure to save your 1 for getting out through walls, or just to turn invisible and run.
I'm gonna have to say these feel incredibly forced to be as long as they are. You reiderate the same point so much it makes it nigh impossible to stay focussed. I'm training some newbies to smite, some played past moba's some have not and was looking for any form of tutorial videos that might explain things so i don't have too. But these are not concise and clear by a long shot, and are at the point of rambling. You have a "list" format which is the only semblance of structure the video has. Once you delve into a point you just ramble too much. the kakarot line was a bit left field.
Ferriano Rayn just gives tips. He doesnt tell you how to play like a pro player would. This is more of a entry-level guide of playing mage than a tutuorial lining up the specifics. Smite is a hard game to teach. A lot of things you just pick up by habbit, and you can't teach habbits.
Pavorish I get that but this is a 12 minute video that could easily be said in 4-7 minutes with no actual information lost what so ever. I'm just trying to give him constructive criticism so that he knows why I'm unable to use his videos as a entry level guide for new players. it's too rambling.
dragontyron both of them works like a "bridge" between arena and conquest. its a way for arena players to feel comfortable queueing for conquest. problem is that we can only have 1 of those modes, and since they moved Siege to the buttom its a sign that clash is staying and Siege is leaving
Huh, I don't recall seeing this mentioned. I could very well be blind though. Joust serves the role too, since you learn more about jungling and laning without worrying about multiple lanes. I'd place it on the step between Arena and Clash. Clash is more of a bridge than Siege is, I feel, because Siege has the extra component of siege minions, which is definitely not a thing in Conquest. Yes, its jungle is way bigger than that of Clash, but the mode is its own entity, as it were. You play Siege for the extra nuances it brings, more than you play it as an "I want to learn Conquest." This also means that it's likely not going away anytime soon. Plus, due to its smaller size, Clash is faster. Players like that, since they don't have to invest huge amounts of time into it like they do for the larger two maps.
Hey raynday! Could you make a video on how to be a decent human being?
There are hints of how to be a better human being in many of his videos =)
u have to understand the humans mentality
+BeastFlamer 😂
YEET!
I was expecting this to be wrong. But every point made is valid. Wonderful to see people making videos that will help out newer and more veteran players.
+mrperson132 glad you found value my dude, that's huge and I appreciate you letting me know! Always great to make videos that I enjoy but also help others in some way.
raynday, for the #3 mana, you can go into your settings and make it to where it shows the mana cost for a spell on the hot bar...
That's what I do, it's so helpful
It automatically did that when I got the game
Raynday I loved the video, I never thought about the mentality thing that's good. that Vegeta impression was dead on lol gotta give props😂👌
Raynday....that Zap Brannigan (and Kif) impression just earned you a sub. Awesome guides, btw :P
+Pius X futurama is just too good, man :)
Dude ur predictive aim is just off the charts with that isis lol
Björn Bergström or they're just walking into it.
I just wanted to say Rayn, that it's so incredible of you to bring out these videos to teach everyone how to become a better smite player. In all honesty, your own mentality is just amazing and I love learning from people like you. All your videos really have helped me, and thousands of others I know it! New to the channel but I'm quickly becoming a big fan. Keep it up man
Thank you my dude! Glad you are enjoying yourself!
you're one of my favorite youtubers just because of your attitude at life
:) Thank you my friend
Fantastic video again man!! This has been by far my favorite series and it's clear how much love, attention and detail you put into these.

Raynday the God of speeches
Should be added in smite xD
+shayaa ali lol yeah
Raynday's passive-Devine Presence-Raynday speaks for every 6 seconds and allies around him will be motivated giving them an atk speed buff and damage buff for 10 seconds
+SilencedVoid ability one. top 5
area of effect that ticks five times and stuns for 3 seconds
Ability 2 Dare me- A buff that boost his stats randomly from atk speed, Defence, Damage, movement speed and 10% cd
Thank u for ur videos!! I started playing smite abt 2 months ago and struggled up to level 24 mainly only playing mages. Awesome vid. Not only is it helpful, but your voice is also nice to listen to. (Also, that outro speech about magic was absolutely beautiful)
Hey, thanks Raynday. I watched this video and kept in mind these tips for my next few games. I didn't die for 3 games straight, and got 6-8 kills per game. These tips are really good

LOLOL that Vegeta impression! xD
:)
hell yeah
Love it
Raynday...these videos are too good man >_> You should make videos on tactics too like Rotations, Counter-Builds, Counter-Picks and Team Composition.
Seriously dude idk how you script these but they flow so well it's like you've been teaching for years...keep it up dude!

Awesome! Well sorry it had to be last, but I'm glad that it's finally your turn to see some hunter love!
Hey Raynday, thanks so much for these videos, I'm new to smite and my Bellona and Amaterasu games improved leaps and bounds after you're warrior video. Looking forward to improving my mid-lane games now

Glad you made the video. All your 5 ways on mage are valid and on point. Great job.
Years later and I still refer people to your smite videos. I made it to grandmaster conq, joust, and in duel because of you. Thanks bro

that random mercury at 9:32 xD great video btw it is very helpful.
Thanks Jazzy :) Glad you like it!
Loved the vid. Will help me with my Vulcan and Ah Puch play
Raynday just wanted to say thank you for all the information it has helped go from losing based on not knowing to learning from losses and winning.
That's amazing to hear my friend. Very glad to have that be the case :)
cant tell you how many times ive used my scylla ult to avoid some hard cc and escape. thinking outside the box is crucial as a mage. nice vid rayn
I enjoyed this video a lot. It's fun and the tips on my favorite role in the game is helpful. Thanks for posting this.
Oui! I ai manqué un autre de ceux-ci depuis si longtemps. Merci raynday
wow, i really enjoy your vids, not just the content, but the message you left on top of it, how you are always that positive , one of my favorite youtubers and content-creator, no doubt
Big thanks my man, seriously! Love that you love what I do. Makes it that much more special!
Dang sure i love what you do! Big thanks to you for making that much of awesome content for us

Rayngeta Gaming lvl over 9000! Best Vegeta Impression in a long time mate! :) thank you for that XD and of course thanks for this awesome video!
Thank you my friend! So glad you enjoyed the impression haha! Been doing that one on the low for awhile!
Great video! I will be working really hard on my positioning now because of this video.
You rock man. You really do. Thanks for this, I'll take this compliment with me today!
Smite newbie here and very grateful for your videos Raynday, really helpful
Thanks for this!! Will be sharing with my friends who want to learn to mage. Being a mage main myself it was a great refresher video!! I will be working on counting my mana for sure now!! Thanks man!
counting mana is a thing i need to work on too, i've had deaths happen because i didn't have enough mana to getaway. now ill keep that in mind
"hey, you have a booger on your nose"
THATS MY STYLE BRO! >:0
This is the one that I think helped the most. Thanks for the video!
Thanks raynday for helping me to get better at mage class dude. keep up the good work!
Another great vid! I primarily play as a mage, so this will be most helpful!
your audio is awsome, thumbs up for that! :D, can you tell me wich is your mic? ty :D
I really admire the positive outlook you have
Yeah this was actually helpful. Most others just like to hear themselves talk but you brought up valid points and in hindsight of course I knew I should have been doing some of these that I wasn't. Thank you.
This was very important
I always had this concept
But never knew how to put it into words
I learned a lot from this and will share it with my friends
There is an option in the settings that shows the mana cost of each ability in the corner of it's icon on your ability bar. It still means that you would be doing on-the-go math, but it greatly facilitates it. I personally play with this on all the time. I figure that the more information that I have, the better.
Yes! I feel the same way as you do! You're amazing. Thank you for doing this!
Always making me happy, thanks evan :)
hey man thanks for that number five tip, I have that problem when I use my Osiris. I almost always have my ult available but never use it to escape
I've been waiting for this! Thanks for everything Raynday
Of course! My pleasure!! It was fun to do!
Dude, that DBZ reference!!! Great guide as always man!
Rayn, I really enjoy these videos. thank you very much for sharing such great ideals for your thoughts on different roles, and providing such clear and specific examples. they genuinely have been helping me to better myself when it comes to playing smite. I really do appreciate and enjoy the effort you put into your content.
Thank you very much my friend, I am really glad you enjoy it. And that you are seeing improvement - that is even better!
Raynday Gaming If only I were on PC e_e I'd gladly join you for a couple games, if you'd be up for it. Alas, though, I am a console scrub.
Raynday FTW! for always bringing the good content bro, keep up the good work
+SiRRuSH002 much love man!
Really good man. Love your content.
thank you for this video. as someone who mains mid/mage gods it's a healthy reminder to remember the basics.
Thank you for the video, keep up the good work!
you're a really awesome positive guy bro, we need more people like you in the world!
Thank you bro!!
damm you're amazing, not only in smite, i mean your motivational speeches always help me. subbed
+Classy Duck appreciate that my friend. Stay a classy duck and I hope to see you around again!
your videos are really entertaining keep up the great work
holy shit that was a great vegeta impression😂👍👍
your magic exceeds that of Harry Potter's Raynday. You are the Origin of magic. Hirez got the whole "mage" thing from looking at you. keep up the good work
Hey since consoles just got clans earlier today I was wondering if you were gonna do a console clan? Thanks and great video btw.
Love the intro into 5 and the outro from 4.
I died at that mercury thing, great video!
Great guide! You're a great Mage! :D
I already knew most of this stuff because I've played a Mage for a while, either way though your video is still so awesomely great
only thing i play because I'm bad at using melee characters :'( but i have tried guardians which are really fun
I'm new to ur channel, and new to Smite. Ur videos r definitely helpful. Thanks. keep em komin
Thanks my man, I will absolutely do so!
11:00 how did you kill the Titan after Phoenix had respawned
if the titan is in aggro before the phoenix spawned he still can be damaged.
Bc he's raynday gaming
2:20 "Periods when you're on and periods when you're off" so true
I love you for everything you said at the end! ^^ I also believe magic excists! ^^And i always loved to play as a mag no matter what game
*Positioning!*
I die a little (particularly when playing support) when I watch my mage teammate try to run up as frontline damage. I'm typically alright with staying in the back lines, but I'm still only meh as most mages 'cause I can't hit any abilities. I'm notoriously bad at landing the Scylla ult.
TIP: Pick scylla when you have a teammate who has very easy set up for her ult, (ex. kumba's mesmerize or knock up)
Will do!
I have a suggestion for a video Rayn! How about "How to adapt"
I get caught out in a few games not knowing what to build for the current situation.
Do I choose health, defense or power? I struggle trying to get it right and usually stick to what I think works best, but ultimately it isn't always right. Would love some help and I'm sure some others would.
Keep up the good work and I hope you hit that 50k soon enough!
Thanks my man! Great idea for the series, I appreciate that!
No worries! Happy to help :)
You've made me a better player and I'm sure others have appreciated your expertise as well!
Really good video. learn alot from it. it gave me some nice tips to how i should play my mage. thanks you Ray ;)
awesome video. I'm just getting into the game and already decided that Mage is the way to go. any tips on Ao Kuang?
play him super sneaky, and jump people when they aren't paying attention or at low health. he's really strong if you use your 2 before you jump people, but you'll die very fast, so make sure to save your 1 for getting out through walls, or just to turn invisible and run.
Also, never, EVER, focus tanky gods with him, deal with the squishies first, as they'll usually die in 2 or 3 hits.
Raynday Gaming this is great, you're great. Thank you!
Yay! Conquest! :D
+Pavorish just for you BB.

Pavorish I get that but this is a 12 minute video that could easily be said in 4-7 minutes with no actual information lost what so ever.
I'm just trying to give him constructive criticism so that he knows why I'm unable to use his videos as a entry level guide for new players.
it's too rambling.
Dat power level over 9000 speech was the greatest thing I have ever heard.
The Red Rising quote was the best thing :)
Holy shit you've blessed me with a 2 am video xD raynday you're the man and don't let anyone else tell you otherwise
Blessings to you bro! This one goes out to all my 2am'ers - and I know there are a lot of you.
damn raynday back at again with the amazing guides!
+Evandro Pedro thanks my man!!!
hey rayn , nice video , anout themana consumption , you can enable options so it shows ho much mana your skills use very usefull
u really like Clash :P
and i hate it because it wants to replace siege. such an underrated map
Clash and Siege are quite different.
Siege is way bigger and has the siege minions.
dragontyron both of them works like a "bridge" between arena and conquest. its a way for arena players to feel comfortable queueing for conquest. problem is that we can only have 1 of those modes, and since they moved Siege to the buttom its a sign that clash is staying and Siege is leaving
I'd say it's more of a bridge between Joust and Conquest.
dragontyron its even stated that the maps Clash and Siege are bridges for arena players (the majority of players) between arena and conquest
