0:40 lmao, I played a game of Azir with this mindset and I actually carried the game because i was getting plates and not following roams after an assassin 😂
I've been playing syndra and 9 out of 10 times, it's always better to just ping and farm/plates until I'm no longer a minion lol. I ain't following that zed into the jungle
I think this video is very misleading because it's so dependent on matchups. Not every champion is good at roaming or should even roam if you're a mage into an assassin matchup that is roaming a lot, because they can sometimes just pretend to roam and sit in a bush and wait for you to leave lane to follow and simply kill you that way. I also think the video is misleading because what does agency even mean in this context? Some mid laners have much less agency than others and how much agency they have also depend on the state of the game and the champions on the opposing team. Leaving your tower can be catastrophic if you are an Orianna into a Qiyana and Hecarim jungle, and a champion like Talon has much more agency early on with his shove and roam style compared to someone like Kassadin that has very little impact before he gets to level 6. A champion like Ahri can also have great agency but only if your jungler is proactive so you can play around them and the list goes on.
@@Kamishi845just don't roam if your opponent has more than 5 seconds advantage(1 if they have dashes) or if the matchup is bad.their kill isn't guaranteed,but your farm is

especially when they just camp your lane like you're a krug for the first 10 minutes and you're not allowed to step outside of your turret
It's the shortest lane and easiest to camp especially for aggressive jg and then add support roams what are we talking about? Lol
@@deseandukes5375beeing the shortest lane means it's actually the hardest to camp since the enemy has kess distance to cover to reach his turret. The central location makes it very easy to pass by here and there though.

so basically all you have to do on lower ranks is to do excactly the opposite that your teammates are saying. noted
honestly, one of the best resources to learn league. if i could afford it I would truly sub to skill capped without hesitation. and i probably will once i can.
When i die, i always advice others to retreat amd not follow a low hp champion. The players i am often paired with follow the enemy to the point that the enemy get 2 free kills whilst on the tower.

every player should be thinking about win con mid laners are the team captains in most games but everyone should be thinking about their role and what they bring to the team
10:11 as a midlaner when my laner roams to bot randomly cuz they have no vision yet pushing and my teammates die they always just flame me and spam ping me, but i cant do shit abt it, ill just take the farm advantage, good to know i am in the right, i gen started feeling im doing it bad
all you can do is ping your bot lane to retreat.other than that it's not worth.the enemy laner will be almost there by the time you clear the wave they crashed,just get lvl advantage and tp back after crashing to get a free reset
Well, I' main midlaner and I roman all the time (I play Katarina). 95% of the games the enemy midlaners stays afk mid farming while I destroy the map. You have to learn when you should stay mid and when you should follow the enemy midlaner. If you stay mid doing nothing you are actually doing a bad job.
Meanwhile, toplaners who get bullied too much, just go mid

We either go mid or jungle, and either become one of the best at the lane we’ve swapped to, or relegate ourselves to going back top after getting put up against someone with more knowledge than us

Why do I listen to team pings sometimes? Because they are stupid, they tilt and they actively throw if you just ignore them or say no to them. That is the sad reality of low elo. On the other hand, a sweeper or a blue ward would help with the little vision play that goes in low elo, maybe camp near enemy tower because they always recall under tower or on a bush.
Honestly is annoying that you have to take into account players emotions also if you want to win, sometimes more than logical plays. More often than not, the morale of the players dictates if you have a 0 20 adc or a rage quiter or someone that at least is still trying. It's an annoying balancing game unless you are micro and macro so superior that you just actually win 1v9's consistently.
The worst part about league is the toxicity…. And the mid lane heimerdingers LOL
To the last point, i have started dodging every time I get a Talon in my game. Every single time they will go for these terrible roams, get nothing from them and then come back to lane 2 levels down and no cs and start flaming everyone else like clockwork

I do not agree on mid being the most overwhelming role. Compared to jungle it is nothing.
Mid definitely is NOT nothing its way more overwhelming than jg because in mid there are all kinds of champs ! Mages , assassins, fighters adcs ! Jg is more forgiving as you're constantly on the move compared to being stuck in a short lane against a lot of cc and against a champ that can counter you ! A jungler's objective is to just gank and clear monsters while a mid laner needs to push the lane , help gank other lanes , keep his lane from losing and if you gank without proper waves timing you'll lose the turret and the game ! How about we stop making it all about jg and devaluing other roles ? Lol
@@dawn3715 i’m a both mid and jungle player and I assure you I can afford turning my brain of in mid lane. But I absolutely can not do the same in jungle. It’s not about devalueing anything. It’s simply the nature of the roles.
As mid I’m only mainly responsible in one lane. If I know my match-up and that is mostly enough for me to perform. While in jungle not only I have to know about the enemy jungle match-up and jungle route; I have to know about every single lane’s match-up and current lane states and positionings as well.
*Any good player is responsible for knowing the matchups in the game regardless of the role. But jungle is literally obligated to do so in order to be able to perform, at all.* Mid lane is very very easy compared to jungle and it is also very easy to salvage a missplay in mid thanks to the short lane. Unlike side lanes your lane won’t be freezed for the eternity, or unlike jungle you won’t be behind tempo 24/7 because of one mistake.
I personally prefer playing mid over jungle because it is nothing when it comes to being overwhelming, compared to hell that is jungle.

Back when this video was made, mid lane was far and away the worst role in the game. The role had virtually no agency. It's better this season, but jungle, support, and adc are still better roles with more impact. The opening premise to this video is suspect at best.

he is good just u need to know what to do and when u can do it has it changes with tf over most mids like said at the start if u have ulti and a lead u can go bot and kill them has u have R vision and dont need to walk to much and if they started recall u missed nothing and can get control of dragon before any fight even before the recalling bot can get there but this means u have a set matchup chart and less selfish in lane to try and get stuff to get u ahead just in a deferent way
still tf is kinda a now emerald+ champ has u need to know that your team will not just be very behind after just 5 levels and can give u the R play to get there with level 6

@@ziggs123 why it’s played so little in low elo and evey jungler horrible and there are thousands of jungle video tutorials then? If you want to be a good jungler you are FORCED to learn every lane’s matchup on top of your own matchups. You literally have to know the details of every pick present in the game unlike other lanes; and this is BEFORE the decision making part of your game.
I’m willing to bet you’re one of them autofilled afk farming junglers that single handedly cost your team the entire game.
