Abstract
When the patient is in the finishing stage, some teeth may require torque adjustment. Although there are several ways to approach it, the simplest way is to install a single torquing spring. This presentation is to demonstrate a fews tips of utilising torquing springs and how to avoid some of the most common errors.

I may assume the wire must be rectangular in crossection.. Otherwise the spring would just rotate around the wire.

Also, since the activated spring applies a force on the wire forcing the wire to twist in an unfavorable diection (in the slot- opposing the spring's action) the grinding of the wire to try and round it's cross section is very important
