      @alexss3661 Рік тому

      @Simm JJ who says that? Nobody cares about your religious beliefs. Men and women are a bit different biologically but gender roles are a social construction of many generations. In the past all societies were more misogynistic and sexist, that's why women had to comply with being housewives. They didn't have any other choice while men could be financially independent. Women were slaves of their husbands and couldn't get divorced because of that. Traditional gender roles are sexist and misogynistic. As women we can do whatever we want. It's okay for a woman to be a housewife but we can also pursue our dreams and be financially independent. Some women don't want to provide for their family and that's okay but some of us have no problem doing that. The real problem is that there are men who don't like being with a financially independent woman because he has no power over her and both are equal to make decisions and initiate a divorce. Those men only want a slave who can be totally dependent on him. That kind of life sucks and thank god women are realizing that now.

    I've never spent $120 on one piece of clothing. I think the most I ever spent on a single piece of clothing is a Tshirt that was around $50. It was pricey for a shirt, but I liked it and I knew I would get use out of it. But buying a cardigan for $120 for a toddler, there wasn't much thought behind that. They're having money troubles and they go and spend that much on one piece of clothing, when their daughter won't be able to use it in a few months (because she'll most likely outgrow it). Also, I understand the pandemic has screwed everyone over when it comes to jobs, housing, finances, etc. However, contrary to what the mother-in-law stated, I don't believe this guy isn't a good worker. 120 dollars for a cardigan whaaattt!!!!!! not even gap for kids lol. That was most definitely an unnecessary purchase. Btw I only say this because they are supposedly struggling so much with money. When someone is struggling with money they don't go off and buy a sweater for 120 dollars for a child that's growing super fast. By all means, if you have the money and you can buy it go ahead no problem but in this case, that was not a good purchase.
