Whats really adorable is that Ralts probably approached Wally bc it sensed his fear about moving and desire to be friends. It was never random, Ralts chose Wally.

I really like Wally as a character and how he developed from a shy, young boy to a mature trainer throughout the game.
I wish we saw him more throughout the game. It's like we see him at the start, then right before we take on the league.
Not gonna lie. Wally was the first rival I actually grew emotionally attached too.

Whenever I join a Minecraft pixelmon server it's my first mission to recreate Wally's victory road team. And when there's a server tournament I try to use his team just to solidify how this trainer grew from. Shy and sickly to a strong determined and caring trainer

I think he is one of the best rivals.. even if he is not that strong
Actually, oras Wally is ranked as the 4th strongest trainer in all the games. Behind Red (duh), a tie with Barry and Iris, and Cynthia. This is including rematches of course. His Pokemon are in the 80s in his last battle.
Wally's strength and skill as a trainer is why he is one of the few characters invited to the Battle Tree in Alola. Since it made in conjuction of Cynthia's recurring idea, (4th,5th, and 7th Gens), of gathering the world's top elite trainers to challege eachother. The sheer fact he made it there is proof of this.

Wally can be a mirror of you. After 50 consecutive wins at the Battle Maison, you can meet him of 38:01 and 46:45. He is too focused on winning and thinks pokemon are a dime a dozen.

Can we all just take a moment to realize Mixeli posted an ORAS video in 2020? Freaking legend, my favorite games in the whole series!
This was the very first Pokémon game I played front to back. I remember my friends trying to get me into it since Red and Blue and I was like “nah.” 😂 But this Wally battle, where the red flowers are in the background and I was just in awe. Still etched in my kind to this very day and still my favorite rival battle for sure! Marnie is a close 2nd. Her theme rocks!

My team for Wally is the same team I used to battle Brendan. I did go easy on him in the first battle against him and used a Torchic against the Ralts. As soon as the battle on Victory Road happened, the music got intense, and I used the rest of the team to beat him and pulled a Mega Blaziken vs. Mega Gallade battle. Wally is probably the character that i most respect, to pass from a insecure an d 0 confidence to a Badass and confident pokemon trainer with a Gallade.

Liked him significantly more than May as a rival. Whenever I fought her it felt like a job, I didn't want to. I liked fighting Wally. I wanted to lose to him. He would've deserved it.

Idk if anyone else does this but whenever i fight a rival in any of the games and they pull out their starter, ill pull out mine.
They should have changed Wally’s outfit and look at the final battle to showcase his own journey overcoming challenges and his doubts, similarly to how yugi muto looks slightly similar and yet different to Atem from the series Yu-gi-oh

Gallade is such a shitty design and concept, it was VERY satisfying to sweep his entire team with a gardevoir and toss his dawn stone in front of him. Nice character besides that though
