Vasikka Thagundha Idam - 3

mahaangal poojikka koodiya idam, naam vasikka ugandha idam
In thirunaaraayaneeyam, devas and rishis ask bhagavaan, ekapaadha sthithe dharme (when dharmam is standing on just one quarter/one leg) where they should go and live (katham vasthavyam asmaabhi:), He says guravo yatra poojyanthe (where mahaans are worshipped), yatra dharmo na heeyathe (where dharmam does not deteriorate), vasthavyam tatra yushmaabhi: (live in that place). For us, this means we can live in places where groups of bhakthas celebrate mahaans (e.g. Srimath Azhagiyasingar thirunakshatrams/other HHs). By just doing aachaarya smaranam, we can do praayaschittham for our paapams, so places where aachaaryas are worshipped, the dharmam will not deteriorate - so we can live there.
(where) yatra vedaascha (vedas are recited - svaadhyaayam) yajnaascha (yagnam is done - here brahma yagnam which is a vidiccha karma), tapa: (just staying in nilai of ananya seshatvam, ananya upaayam, ananya prayojanam is a tapas by itself), satyam (doing just for His preethi) damasthathaa (indiriya adakkam) himsaa (no adharma praani vadhai) cha dharmasamyukthaa (but only dharmatthoda himsai ie yaaga pasu referred here which is not considered himsai, but beneficial) - here if we live, adharmam will not set foot here.
Perumal tells Sribhaashyakaarar (saranaagthi gadyam), 'srirange sukhamaasva' - live in Srirangam which is a udhaaranam for places like divya desams where bhaagavthaas reside and mahaans are worshipped.
