By far the best metal band on the planet right now ..zero ...yes zero bad songs !!! Mediator ...omv dude it will melt your face off 🔥🤟...love the reaction
They are so amazing to see live! Especially if you can catch them at a smaller venue and see their full set. I agree with everyone saying to watch their performance of Perennial from the same Wacken show! ❤
I agree, "Perennial" from this same concert at Wacken is the best next step, but must include "Pit of Consciousness" live in Kiev as a request for some time after.

(besides, a lot of their very early videos was just live footage spliced over the studio audio -- it's only really been since Micro that they really started pouring loads of money in to their videos)
Another older song, from the 2016 King of Everything album. Same record that Pisces is on. At this festival, from what I understand and iirc, Jinjer was scheduled to go on first at 11 a.m., they were delayed starting due to the sound guys having issues, took them almost the entire set to get it figured out. Finally got it, or close, on the last song, Perennial. Please check that one out. The song itself is about her search for her soulmate, who she thinks may be in another dimension. Tati, in real life, has since gotten married, to drummer Alex Lopez, now playing with P.O.D. Even with the sound issues, Tatiana and the guys are still amazing. Correct, Eugene is the bassist, Roman on guitar. Vlad has jazz in his background, which I think is part of the reason the drums are so low.
Thanks for the info. That's life on the road! Anything can happen. I can hear Vlad's jazz training in his playing which is why I was reminded of Apex Theory. They are all so phenomenal! Next will be Perennial from the same show. 🤘🤘
Yeah good info. I heard their set was cut short because of the sound issues. Perennial was not supposed to be the last song, but they didn't get to play their whole (already short) set. They soldiered through like the road warriors they are, and the iconic Perennial performance is all the more triumphant as a result. Knowing what you know now about the show, when you watch Perennial, imagine the complex emotional release they must have felt when that song was over.
I think that lots of jinjer fans will agree that they feel like yep that,s my girl because every jinjer fan loves tati. Back in their early starting days when they played all over the place in bars and pubs and sometimes didn,t even have food on the table and were really struggling to get by ,that,s when they learned to work a crowd. That is why they and esspecially tatiana are such great performers. They learned the hard way.
Them being Ukrainian is a huge draw for me. I'm an aggressively pro-Ukrainian American. Discovering Jinjer in late 2022 was like all the stars aligning for me. Slava Ukraine! Slava Jinjer!
They are even more amazing live if you can believe it bud, Blew the roof off the stadium here when I saw them!, well it was small venue(2000 capacity) but absolutely amazing.
Good reaction dude! You might want to check out the OMV for this song as well, as it will be worth your time. I would say Teacher, Teacher! OMV would be the next step to take., Then Perennial (Live) from the same concert. You have a new sub here! Peace!!
Thank you my friend! And thanks for the sub, I really appreciate that. I think I will do Perenial next. I do have a list that keeps getting longer so there will be much more. 🤘❤️🤘
Tatiana is an amazing front woman - no doubt about it. Bruce is the GOAT - hands down. Enjoy the Jinjer rabbit hole - they just don't have a bad song. Oh, and then you can check out "baby" Jinjer - when they had a second guitarist earlier in their discography and stayed a bit more pure to metalcore without as much genre bending. Their progression is astounding and Tatiana, Roman and Eugene have over a decade playing together, Vlad the drummer is the noob and he is hitting 8 years now. 🤘
Vlad is a sick drummer! Love his minimalist set. I was jamming in the heyday of super big sets with rack cages, a dozen toms and about a hundred cymbals! I'm enjoying this rabbit hole dive. can't wait for the next one- Perennial. Thank you!🤘❤️🤘
@@BemusingBillexactly! I've always said the spaces between the notes are as important as the notes themselves. I'm a big Rush fan, and that dude was walled in behind his massive kit. I do love a big drum set, but if you don't have a full roadie crew it's a serious PITA. Vlad's kit is so low and flat and minimalist, it's awesome. It looks so ergonomic. Much less arm movement than I'm used to seeing. And that uncrossed open-handed ambidextrous technique is killer. Added bonus: with the drums that low and no rack toms, you can actually see the guy back there, instead of just a bobbing head!

Yeah. I'm really having a hard time with this performance, it's nowhere near the studio version. This concert was a struggle for them, and I mean for Tatiana, the guys seem to be on point although the mix is totally off on this one, but you can clearly hear how she's all over the place with notes, I don't remember what the problem was, I guess her in-ears monitors were off or something similar. Anyway, by the last song of the set, 'Perennial', the one everyone and their grandma has been reacting to and with good cause, the problem was sorted out and that performance is unbelievably good, I suggest that one for one of your next reaction. As for 'I speak astronomy', the studio version is a much better pick, you can't hear half of what's going on with this one. But one hell of a track for sure.
Thank you! I was responding to many comments to do this song and I'm glad I did. Phenomenal! yes, I noticed she was doing something with her in-ear monitors- well, that's what happens during a live performance and of course they handled it like the professionals they are. Yes, for sure, Perenial from Wacken will be next. I would love to do studio versions of songs but then everyone says no, I should do live ones. As a new fan, I want to hear and see it ALL!! I can relate to the issues with the left in-ear. I'm always messing with my left one too! For probably the first three years I used in-ears I only used the right one, cuz I wanted to have some ambient stage sound. Then I learned using only one is bad for your hearing, and I started using both. But I like having the left one kinda half in. That means the damn thing is always falling out and coming loose.
