I only recently got back into these Mini 4WD things since my hayday in the late 90's and early 2000's. This is a most informative video especially when you pointed out the hierarchy of speed vs power at around 5 minutes into the video. I could never understand which one was which and this video, after 25 years or so, made me understand. Thank you for that. At one point I had 10 Tamiya/Auldey, 6 Crush Gears and even 8 or 10 BeyBlades which brings back great memories. It's just unfortunate you didn't gave the Plasma Dash or the Full Metal Blue motor which revs to 55,000 rpm. You got yourself a new subscriber.
More torque, double pinion. More speed, single pinion. Mach dash is slower than ultra but better recovery. Ultra really fast for tracks with more straight section
Imo the single shaft seems to lose power in on side of the wheels. You lose power on the propeller shaft compared to dual shadt where the power goes directly to the wheels.

sa pag breakin pala,, mainam lang na ibaba sa tubig habang pinapaandar (gawin ng di nababasa ang battery), ang gagawin kasi jan ay dapat mapantay ang lapat ng carbon brush, paraan, ipaandar ang motor na nakababad sa tubig ng mga nasa 20 - 30 sec, may interval. ulitin ang proseso ng ilang beses pero iwasan ang over heating sa motor. lalabo ang tubig o magkaka kulay ng kunting gray, indikasyon na may grinding na sa brush. sa mga 2-4 na beses ay sapat na kung sa palagay ninyong na pre grind na ang brush ng maigi. ang porpuse ng pag break in sa carbon brush ay pagpapaganda ng lapat nito para sa mas mainam na performance. tandaan, ang over heating sa motor ay nakakabawas ng lakas ng magnet at nakakapagpahina ng performance.

Maayos pa kaya yun & anu reason bakit po na short & napulutan ng brush? Pasenya napo kung madami question newbie lang po ako salamat

Usually boss natuyuan ng lubrication sa brushes or shorted sa core. Unfortunately minsan nakakatsamba ng di masyado durable, it happens
