I'd wait and see what it looks like after buffing is done. To me, clearing it is not a lot different from painting it. Either way, it's not really original anymore. I like clearing some old cars to show the patina in an artistic way, but I'm not feeling it on that GTO. But I live in Frisco, so I like things "fancy."

Amazing transformations on very rare low mileage examples. 1965 was a pinnacle year for Chevrolet, they were at the top of their game for sure. The wheel trim rings on the '67 Jeepster were an exact copy of 1958 Cameo Carriers. Keep the GTO original, wet sanding with 1000 grit often times produces amazing results. Thank you for the long awaited updates Dennis, love the channel.

Beautiful cars and update. It feels good to see them again and see the progress in the works. Really like the color on that blue Jeep.

You guys do beautiful work, I love watching you guys bring these old cars back to life! The El Camino is stunning and i like the direction you're going on the GTO, my opinion would be to matte clear it, cause it is 50 yr old paint UV rays will destroy it. I look forward to your next video.

Nice to see Alex getting more comfortable in front of the camera. Great video. Cheers from Southern Thailand.
