your dedication is unmatched, james. quickly became my favorite nfl info channel and podcast
Great detail work 💯
Phenomenal video and breakdown. You earned a sub
It’s so funny that Richardson’s comparison is Tyson Campbell cuz the Jags just used their top 30 visit on him and apparently really like him.
More more more. The quality is there just keep the content coming.
One of the things I love about your videos is they are very esthetically pleasing. What do you use to chart all of this? Did you make it yourself?
I make the graphics in RStudio
Kool aid is underrated. Reminds me of of how ps2 sauce and jpj hot underrated. I don't think he's as good as those guys but still.
I agree
Great job! What did you see from Quinyon since the sr bowl that made you jump him from 4th or 5th to 1st? Banks over Mitchell is interesting
I raised his grade after seeing his movement skills in person and watching him have success vs. the best competition. Also finished up the rest of his tape, a couple of his best games I hadn't watched when I did my initial evaluation.
Other CBs falling was a big factor as well.
- Didn't expect Wiggins to be that light
- Watched the rest of Rakestraw's tape and got more worried about the speed
- Re-watched DeJean's tape and decided I was overrating his athleticism a bit
Damn this deep.
*pause
Was hoping to get your take on Benjamin Morrison out of Notre Dame
D. Hardy from my Nittany Lions 🦁 is a badass, and very talented and underrated!!! Trust me!!! WE ARE
Thanks for all these awesome content! I would really like to check out your big board, too, but I can't open the big board on any of my devices (M1 MacBook, iPhone, Win 11 PC, etc. not even after 15+ minutes…) Any idea/solution? Thanks!
Probably an Adblock, try turning it off/disabling it for the site
@@calumsutherland4927 Nope, that's not it. Cache's been cleared, also. (Tried private window as well.) Nada.
I think the corner that didn't get targeted is the better one.
Are you publishing a draft guide?
I always give constructive criticism, but I think you pretty much nailed these rankings. Great job! (Cam Hart is too low and Rakestraw too high :D)
Was waiting for your feedback lol
I know speed is king but jaylon johnson ran a 4.5 just like terrion and rakestraw. And he just produced a top 3 cb season.
What are your thoughts on CB Ryan watts from Texas?
97th percentile height
97th percentile arm length
95th percentile weight
94th percentile Vert
85th percentile wingspan
72nd percentile 3 cone
70th percentile broad
61st percentile hands
60th percentile shuttle
55th percentile 10 yard
36th percentile 40 (4.5 not that bad considering height and weight I feel)
On Wiggins? You did not watch the Georgia Tech game. Wiggins got beat badly deep by a Freshman WR multiple times. On both occasions QB bailed him out.
Stiggers so underrated think he play slot/fs/star/ss/outside cb
How great do you think Quinyon Mitchell would be in a Vicc Fangio on the Eagle's, do you think he's an instant impact player's and if so, do you think he'd be a pro bowler or a DROY canidate?
Quinyon Mitchell is over rated
Hed be the perfect fit in fangios system, he probably would be in immediate droty with how much hed feast
Does anyone know where I can access the site that comes up with these scores?
I calculate them differently for each position. Assuming they've done every drill the CB weighting is:
Height: 3.6%
Weight: 11.2%
Arm: 8.6%
Hand: 2.6%
40Y: 34.0%
10Y: 5.7%
Shuttle: 11.5%
3 Cone: 11.5%
Vertical: 5.7%
Broad: 5.7%
@AtoZSportsFilmRoom MAN that's amazing!!!! I would be willing to PAY you to see your process in evaluating talent.. How much film you watch.. what you look for.. etc.. I've coached for 20 years and I evaluate talent by what I "see" but I have no idea how to put it into words or numbers like this and hope to be a college scout one day...
U say alot about moving to slot so who is the true top 5 pure outside corners???
Mitchell, Wiggins, McKinstry, DeJean, Green
@@moonillusions832 dejeans a slot/saftey at the next level,
Cam hart a safety a be perfect for ravens and Seahawks
Anyone else think that Dejean could be a target for teams like the Giants, titans or Seahawks as playing that Kyle Hamilton role?
I don’t see him on the list
@@MarleyG-sj8xi this list? He was the 5th CB covered.
He would be a great 2nd round pick for any of those teams in my opinion
Kalen king fall from grace is insane. i feel bad for him he ran a 4.62 then a 4.5 at his pro day which is still slow for his size.
The senior bowl 1 on 1s are embarrassing.
One of the biggest falloffs for a prospect I can remember
@@AtoZSportsFilmRoom reminds me of Shaun wade
As a die hard Nittany Lions 🦁 fan, I think he is still going to have a solid NFL career!!! WE ARE
Storm duck is a badass name and hes an athletic freak is he any good?

Where's Cooper DeJean?
@@Nancy-nc4sw safety
Kool-aid will be a Lion and be the best CB from this draft class when it’s all said and done.
Cooper DeJean is that dude. Would be a better safety/slot
You have Jerry Jeudy in the timestamps
No Cooper ?
Did you mention Josh wallace or no?
Slow
U didn't post Willie Drew Jr breakdown & u sleeping Travis Blackshear Micah Abraham
He didn't struggle Smith Wade had one best CB in 1 on 1s.
Already going to hard disagree on Banks being better than Mitchell or Arnold. That’s kind of a wild take IMO. Excited to see the explanation there.
I was a lot higher on Banks than most. 200lb CBs with fluid hips, dominant press coverage tape, and 4.35 speed don't come around that often
@@AtoZSportsFilmRoom I mean aren’t we also kind of downgrading Mitchell a little much because of school? Size wise? Same as Banks. 197 combine to 195. Mitchell could be FASTER as nuts as that is. Similar vert, though Mitchell’s broad isn’t t great. But Mitchell is STRONG too. Already good press shown at the senior bowl, but think about if he gets NFL training to use that strength at the line 👀 I liked banks but I think Mitchell and Arnold are close to Witherspoon and Gonzalez respectively.
I feel like every time we question Mitchell he then passes that test with flying colors. And like Gonzalez I feel like Arnold is just such an amazingly solid prospect for the next level. Practically “can’t miss” type of guys for me.
P.S. now that I’ve finished the video, great stuff! Love the analysis on a lot of these guys .
@@Rawrbagelsterrain is not even close to the athlete Gonzales is
@@mateoedwin4202 A. Athleticism isn’t the only thing that matters.
B. Not many people ARE the athlete Gonzalez is. But to say “not even close” when you are talking about a 9+ Ras score guy? Beyond stupid.
C. As I said, if you could read, I literally do have Arnold behind Gonzalez. If all 5 in question were in the same draft it would go 1. Witherspoon 2. Mitchell 3. Gonzalez 4. Arnold 5. Banks
@@Rawrbagels lol you u are comparing athleticism and only giving height and weight as an opinion your a moron, A. Arnold has a 8.3 ras score, gonzo has a 9.9 so yes he is not close to the athlete gonzo is, eat rocks
james top 2 draft content creator and hes not 2…
I highly disagree on Arnold, we’ve seen him play snaps at Slot and he simply isn’t a Slot Corner and I don’t like his tape in off coverage, his stock and film this year is a credit to McKinstry, who ran a 4.4 not 4.5, idk exactly what you look for in CBs, it’s subjective but I’m lower on Arnold than most he’s not a CB1 he’s a CB2 to me imo
lol opposite, kool aid ran a hand timed 40 that was all over the place, its very clear he has slow speed and runs in the 4.5s, also kool aid was stacked a ton, if he was targeted like he will be in the nfl he would have allowed a lot of deep touchdowns, arnold is significantly better in press and a much more fluid athlete, there is nothing arnold does worse
Mitchell was not the best CB in mobile. Yes he flashed at times but he got beat alot. He got beat by guys that will struggle to make a roster like McCaffrey and Rice. Roman Wilson flat out embarrassed him and Corley overpowered him.
Draft mafia decides a player had a great Senior Bowl and it becomes set in stone. If I didn't know who Mitchell was? I would've not have seen him as standing out at all.
Melton, Phillips, James and Brownlee all did far better in 1 v 1s.
No they didn’t. You need glasses.
@@Jonathan-cz4ky You didn't watch the 1 v 1 reps and btw projection? Is not a good look.
If Koolaid made it to the giants in the second round I would jump all over that. The tape doesn't lie and we already have a corner with crazy traits in Deonte Banks.
Koolaid ran 4.46 and lack of short burst ? He has the fastest 10 yard in the class
His tape doesn’t show that type of closing ability at all. He got beat by some of the better deep threats he faced too, like the Texas receivers I think. He’s still a well rounded corner who I think will go in the back end of the 1st, he just lacks top tier athleticism
he ran that hand timed and tons of different results came out from his pro day, pretty clear he has 4.5 speed
Cooper Dejean isn't even on the list 😂 FOH thumbs down
38:42 ints are overrated cmon now?... U supposed to make plays to get offense more opportunities
They’re overrated in terms of player evaluation, not on field impact. They only make up a handheld of the 500 or so cover snaps a player has any given year so it’s the consistent play around those INTs that are more important.
And most interceptions are bad throws or reads by the QB, or tipped passes etc, rather then anything extraordinary that the corner did.
Turn off the video as soon as I heard you speaking about Cooper DeJean moving to safety, it makes me think you never played it down a football in your life and you just can't grasp the fact that a white player can be this athletic if Cooper Dean were black he would be the number one ranked corner in this year's draft and would be heralded as the best corner to come into the league since Patrick Peterson athletically he is everything Patrick Peterson is, and somehow I bet you were rubbing yourself when you looked at Patrick Peterson's tape
😂😂😂
You have to be trolling
@@Jonathan-cz4ky why would I be trolling when he is absolutely the best corner in this draft, and I don't hear talk of moving to safety for any of the black cornerbacks? Why is that oh let me guess the magical loose hips that only black players have LOL
@@warrior65275 He definitely is not the absolute best corner in the draft. Not statistically, not on film, he isn’t the best in any coverage, and the dude was getting beat by big west competition at outside CB lol. Reason why everybody looks at him as a safety is because of that reason. He’s got the best ball skills in the draft and he’s a smart player. But in the NFL he will not be consistent as a boundary corner. He’s just not a very fluid player turning and keeping up speed. He’ll be most useful as a safety that can come down and play in the slot/box in cover 1 or cover 3.
@@warrior65275 I do think it’s funny how you seem to be so emotional about this kid when he’s guaranteed to be playing slot/safety at the next level in the 1st or 2nd rd lol. As if anybody is saying he’s a bad or overrated player.
I think your brain is limited to the slot
No Wallace?
