Yay for a sweaters quantity of Shhhh! It’s a yarn I hope to try at some point, although now that have brought yarn home to Ireland that I had as a stash in the US, there is really no space for more in the cottage! Rug, throw, and shawl crocheting has started with a vengeance 😂 and hopefully by Autumn more yarn space will be made- cuz I’ve still a bit more yarn there at my Dad’s that should probably come home… so like you I’m currently unable to say “not quite enough yarn!” Just Not Quite Enough Space 🧶🧶🧶🧶🧶🧶🧶🧶🧶🧶🧶🧶🧶🧶🧶🧶🧶🧶

I saw the Shhhh yarn in Black Sheep Wools on Monday and it's gorgeous!
I got given some gorgeous cotton yarn with small schlubs in it and some mohair mix - a fluffy red with a gold thread running through it and I have no idea what kind of things I can crochet with it. Any suggestions would be very helpful! My friend wants a top of some kind with the mohair.
Hi Ian - those yarns sound fab! Obviously, it depends on the weight - but with the mohair it sounds as though you want the yarn to shine, so something simple like the comfort tee might be a good idea (never made it, but it looks good): www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/comfort-tee The Roxy Poncho www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/the-roxy-poncho-sweater is also good and very adaptable. - I added sleeves to mine and made the neckline a little smaller so it stayed on better.
