Getting Radiology pg in USA is next to impossible. Every top U.S. MD student wants radiology. IMGs don’t have chance. Usmle is ten times harder than Neet PG . People all around the world compete for usmle . Radiologist in USA earns 7-8 cr per annum . No one trained in us will comeback to India .

If someone is joining residency this yr , will there be less demand by the time he passes out due to advancements in AI?
See there will be cons in every subject and every stream. Radiology is no exception. Subject will reach you to a certain level. Then it’s upto the person what he/she is capable of. Hard working, flexibility or adopting new skills is the blueprint to earn more.

Depends. 8-10/ hour for beginners. 10-12 / hour for experienced ones . This is average count . Depends on what type of scan you are doing, magnitude of the findings etc.
IR is a part of radiology. If you want then you can before IR by doing a fellowship or DM. But lifestyle of a diagnostic and interventional radiologist is of different pole
