I'm anxious to hear how they work in a video sometime. I'm using helmet coms but as a ham radio operator I like the idea of something a bit more powerful.
From Industry Canada’s Website: “The maximum permissible transmitted e.r.p. of the equipment under any operating conditions shall not exceed 0.5 W for channels 8-14 and 2 W for other channels.”
too bad industry canada whiffed on GMRS for canada users; no provision for the repeaters, limited to low power, etc... However, good install was thinking of doing the same with a retevis (i think that's the brand) 20w mobile, but for now hauling a pair of handheld but would prefer a mobile unit for sure.
Sweet unit and install. I’ve got a 23 commander and might do this. Also do you ever get super hot air blowing up from the shifter slot when traveling over 30mph? I do and it’s like a hairdryer. I have a front and rear windshield and the vacuum in the cab drafts it up from the console Totally sucks on mildly warm days. When I have the soft door uppers on for the winter it pressurized the cab and the hot air doesn’t blown in at the time of the year when I need it most🤦🏻♂️ Wondering if there’s a mod plate or brushes to block the airflow around the shifter or something?
Thank to our sponsors and members for making it all happen and our viewers for making it fun! 🙏

That is a super slick upgrade! Great video
Great video, keep them coming. Also wondering when the Am Customize clutch cover video is coming?
It's up next and scheduled already. I am in California but I promise it's on the way :)

Agreed, but it's still a great set up even at a crippled out put.
Free video Kyle. Only thing missing was Cass and deasel

I don't run any windows or cab pieces so I've never noticed any temp issues at all.
death by tim bit very CANADIAN lol
That is a really nice unit. I am curious about the range with the stubby antenna.
More than enough for what we do, without going over canadian watt limit.
@@MainvilleATV because the Watt police are hiding trailside🤣
@Captndarty no, but if you think they can't find you or using high wattage output in Canada isn't an issue you'd be wrong.
