Same for me. I’ve changed my mind on these glowy tinted products in general I think. I’m just going to go for illuminators instead. I already have foundation, if I want to use this type of product I’m just going to use some foundation mixed with an illuminator.
Just wanted to throw it out there for anyone who has gels or cream shadows they love that have dried up- a drop of any kind of mixing medium should revive it easily. Think Inglot Duraline or anything similar. Hope this helps anyone who wants to save a favorite product! 😁
So sad about that blush. I’ve had that happen on an iconic London blush too-the alcohol turned hot pink and the blush was rock hard after it dried. I’ve read that this happens to high talc formulas…the same thing happens to juvias place eyeshadows, have to dry repress those
I've also had something this happen with the Milani rose blushes after one broke, but it didn't fully turn hot pink. I still have the failed repair sitting around, waiting for me to decide if buying cosmetics grade dimethicone and getting into a franken-makeup project would be fun!
Hmmm I need to go sniff my Elf Halo glow. I think I would repurchase. I don’t know what to replace it with plus they have a new 3.5 neutral olive shade now. Curious about that as a mixer as well. I like what’s on your lids here.
The reason mineral SPF products are always tinted is because mineral SPF have a white cast. They have to have a color in order to mask the white of the minerals.
I have always looked at the Elf Halo Glow and thought, "Is that dark or has it passed its expiration?" ...then I look for the expiration date and 🙄 I would 💓if the US mandated expiration dates on all Health & Beauty products. Thank you SO much for sharing this discovery!
Oh no, that Ulta shade is so beautiful on you. I love mine and every time I use it I think of how beautiful it made you look so I get excited to use it.
I decluttered all of my Super Shock eyeshadows this year. They were all dry. I won’t be buying anymore in the future. Lesson learned. For me, in general, single shadows are not for me. I think you’re either a palette person or a singles person. I choose palettes. 😊
@ that’s true. If anything maybe it should’ve been a dusty rose or muted peach shade. (Also I can’t believe you’re responding to my comment, yay!🙈) Merry Christmas Sarah!😊
i always toss stuff with a doe foot applicator after a year bc it's not hygienic. it's why i avoid that packaging unless it's impossible or impractical to (concealer, lipgloss)
I bought the brandy wine lip pencil after seeing you use it. Mine has gone really smelly almost instantly as well! Such a shame cuz i loved the colour and i like the stiff pencils. I was so disappointed. I have a wet n wild eyeliner of the same line too. And it smells too, but not as badly. I will not repurchase. Such a shame cuz i think the colours and formula is perfect apart from the bad smell.
Why not get some inglot duraline and re-hydrate the Danessa Myricks strobe flakes and get some more use from it. It’s really extended the life of cream gel liners in pots without the disturbing the formula in the way eye drops tend to do.
Think I have to stop buying the face illuminators like halo glow I never like any of them. The one I have from iconic London is nice but only works as highlighter since the formula is a bit too dry. Same thing with skin tints usually disappointed with them and majority have spf which irritates my skin.
My halo glow went off within 7 months too! Like I get that that’s on the label but I’m definitely not repurchasing it either.
Yeah there’s no way I could use that up in 6 months, even using it daily!
same here and i repurchased it and it happened again.
Same for me! I purchased the Catrice one instead and will only be applying it on the back of my hand.

Wow yeah that happened to my juvias place eyeshadow and I always wondered!!

I just sniffed my Elf Halo Glow, and it’s still ok. I might start pouring a little out as opposed to using the applicator to help preserve it??
I really wish the elf were in a pump bottle! That would be so much better!
Happy Holidays! Merry Christmas!

I've been binging your videos lately, so cozy and comforting during the holidays!
thank you so much! happy holidays!

Oh, OK. OK, do you know the name of the shade in the Natasha de Nona palette. I have that one too.
Beautiful eye look 😍🤗
Thank you!🤍
Great video! I especially love your eye look, wow 🤩 Did you get a septum piercing?
Thank you! Yes I did a few weeks ago!

I wonder if the blush shade changed because you took out some of the darker brick red pigment (If I remember correctly) when you repressed the blush?
I did remove some of the red pigment! But I don't think that should have turned it hot pink haha

For me the Rimmel eye pencils smell so rancid I had to throw them away after 1 month 😢
Elf needs to lower their prices if they're gonna sell products with a 6 month shelf life.. rimmel has a similar product for about half the price
I will have to check out the Rimmel one!

I might try that!
I mean the shelf life on the elf product is 6 months...so it's honestly impressive that it lasted 2 years.
Cool that I watch both Sarah’s and your videos! 🙂
@@francescaagogo i love that!
Mine halo glow went off too I had to throw it out and I wish I had of used it more i will repurchase but after I use up some similar products first
ugh I love a good end of the year declutter!! I've also found some items that need to exit before 2025 👋
Yes!! It's always nice to go into the new year with a decluttered collection!
Nice declutter, Happy Holidays
Thank you Maru, happy holidays!
Mixing red and peach together should make orange tinged red.
That is a very odd color for a lip primer, especially with it being the only shade they sell.
I agree! It needs to be more neutral
that poor blush :( she will be missed

I have had the charlotte tilbury for about 2 years and it just started smelling faintly i’m close to being done on it
