- Darrell Hammond returns and shares a few impressions from his days on SNL. He also shares stories about cast members interacting with Lorne Michaels, cue cards not being ready, and breaking during sketches. Chris reports the news about Lenny Kravitz revealing a 9-year celibacy, black men suing American Airlines for racial discrimination, and the Massachusetts ‘Bad Breath Rapist’ finally caught. Darrell also reveals which SNL musical performance he still thinks about.
Lastly, Vinnie Tortorich joins the show and gives Adam an update on his health. The group chats about his new documentary, ‘Dirty Keto,’ and Vinnie talks about why he’s always stayed away from the term ‘Keto.’ Adam complains about various seed oils and explains why he thinks our health organizations are lying to the public.

I think Ace is spot on when telling Darrell that the audience isn't aware that he isn't pulling off a character although he (Hammond) is acutely aware being obviously fantastic and I'm sure a perfectionist when it's go-time

Lorne always disliked the deliberate breaking on the Carol Burnett Show and said so and then for some reason changed his mind when Fallon did it
JF made a career out of breaking character, convincing the feeble minded that he’s actually funny!
I travel for a living and I have to say going to the Bada Bing and seeing the Soprano home was bigger to me than seeing Hollywood, the White House, and Manhattan.

In regards to dirty keto. Definitely going to watch. Been reading labels a lot lately to eat healthier youd be suprised how much crap is in your foods. I willl buy the main ingredients to make things from scratch now because of all this. I never thought id see the day im reading labels on a bottle of oil. If its on amazon and they dont show the nutrition or ingredients list i wont order it either.
Gotta love Mr. Blue Collar Everyman Adam Corolla whining about how he can't find hummus at his Whole Foods in Malibu that doesn't contain seed oils. Ha! You know, you can make hummus, right? If you're so concerned, which it sounds like you are, you could even hire a private chef to make it for you! I always thought Darrel's impressions were spot on, but too spot on. Will Ferrel's impression skills aren't as good, but he found a way to focus on a part of the impression that made it funnier.

I don't know. I don't shit on comedians (or regular people) for laughing at their own jokes because they said something they think is funny, so they laugh. I guess the only time it would turn me off is if the joke wasn't funny, but they were laughing. If the joke's funny, I'm not going to begrudge someone for laughing at their own joke.
Sometimes it’s okay to laugh with the audience. The only time it bothers me is SNL’s Weekend Update. The two current guys are terrible but Tina Fey started it with the smug see what I did there look.
How many times can you laugh at the same joke? I'm not sure but I see it done as part of the act. They didn't surprise themselves. It is fake laughter. Also don't like the "and ummmm" after a joke for the audience laughter pause. Minor thing, but I listen to a lot of standup on Sirius/XM
@@philoreagan8515 I haven't watched SNL since the early '90s, lol. I was more referring to Adam saying he didn't like when comics laugh at their own jokes, which has never bothered me. I have seen people called out for it n real life as well, and again, doesn't bother me if they actually said something funny. Ok, the risk is that you say something not funny and laugh at it, which, I agree, is weird.

My best friend is an extreme right, Trump hating liberal. We just don't let it come between us.its not easy. What can I do? we have been friends for over twenty years. Since we were kids, long before Biden was in the White House. The fact that people don't understand Adam's friendship with Kimmel has either never had a best friend or have always had people in their lives that absolutely agree with everything they have said. If that's the case, then you're lucky. How do I sign up for that.

The fact that he made no effort to look or sound like President Ford was a reflection of how little respect American’s had for President Ford after he pardoned President Nixon. Also, nobody can do fake falls or dumb facial expressions like Chevy Chase! Both Gerald Ford traits.
