If they were talking to a real Norse Pagan. When there told your going to hell. They could just respond yeah I might go to Hel you and most people will probably go to Hel.
@@Blaze2wild I never said Hel is bad. I was saying a Norse pagan can admit they can go to Hel when a christian threatens that your going to Hel (since any Norse pagan should know Hel is not bad or evil)
The irony is that when you tell a Norse pagan that they will go to "hell" your using the name of the Norse goddess of the underworld. In fact the entire native of hell is based on mistranslation and perversions of pagan underworlds. Irish reconstructionist and student of comparative religion here.
@@NwoDispatcher I can't tell if that's rhetorical or not or what your stance is so I will just elaborate on what I mean. I apologise if I'm misunderstanding you. Hel or Hella is the Norse goddess of the underworld and gaurdian of the dead. She is Loki's daughter and was charged with caring for those who died without honer. It is said that at her feasting hall "hunger is her plate and famine is her knife". Her name made its way into the English translations of the Bible because of Norse influince on the English language. Old English is actually closer to German than it is to modern English because of invaders such as the Norse raiding parties known as Vikings. Before this the Greek used the words Tartarus and Hades which were taken from the Greek underworld. The topography of hell as is most commonly known matches the topography of Tartarus as described by the poet Virgil in his poem the Aeneid which is why Virgil is Donte's guide in the divine comedy. The Latin vulgate uses the term infernus to describe the lake of fire that the unsaved are thrown into at the end of the world but this is a separate concept scripturally and Hades or Tartarus is more like a holding cell for the dead before judgement and second death which is described as eternal death rather than eternal torment. The Hebrew uses the words sheol which just means grave and gahenna which was a garbage heap outside of Jerusalem that Jesus used as a metaphor for being left out of the new Jerusalem. In Judaism these two separate concepts are viewed very differently. Some see sheol as being a shady underworld similar to the Sumerian Irkala or "house of ash" while others just see it as death and gahenna as an afterlife destination is seen as a place of purification rather than a place of eternal punishment. In any case the concept of hell as we know it now developed overtime and is a result of translating all of these distinctly different words for distinctly different concepts using the same word for all of them "hell" and mixing them together with pagan underworld concept to be used as a scare tactic for apostates. So using hell to scare a Norse pagan is ironic and comical.
@@NwoDispatcher when abrahamists try to define the word god in a way that excludes polytheistic theological concepts in debate I point out that the word god has roots in old Norse and was coined by polytheists who didn't share the relatively new criteria for godhood they are pushing. A demiurge can be a god but a god is not necessarily a demiurge. Gods do not have to be fully immortal or all powerful and in most cases are quasi immortal with great power. A god just has has to be worth worshipping and a petty child with super powers isn't worth worshipping. The Abrahamic god is puffed up beyond reason. His alleged power and knowledge are a self negating proposition and his actions are indefensible. @@funnygaming2672 I probably shouldn’t respond because you’re probably trying to troll me, however, I’m going to out of concern for whoever is ignorant of what God’s Word states. God clearly condemns idolatry (the act of worshipping false gods) throughout the Bible. He caused The Great Flood partly because of it, had the first commandment written condemning it, punished the Israelites for practicing it, punished the Canaanites for sacrificing their newborns to it, and also had tons of prophesies told talking about the punishment idolaters will face during The End of The Age. The thing I can say though to show what you said is untrue is Jesus said “I am The Way, The Truth, and The Life. No one comes to the Father but through me.” He also states that Idolaters won’t inherit the Kingdom of God in The Book of Revelation. Idolatry is a serious sin that the Lord doesn’t take lightly, however, you can still repent and be forgiven. The reason why I tell you this is because of this passage from the Gospel of John: For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son. This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God. John 3:16-21 TL;DR: False gods are false. Praying to them is a sin. Sin leads to spiritual death and eternal punishment. God, however, gave Jesus to save us from sin if we repent and abide in him. Edit Spelling and Grammar

Question: "What are the steps to salvation?" watch the video "What are the steps to salvation?" from Got Questions. Answer: Many people are looking for "steps to salvation." People like the idea of an instruction manual with five steps that, if followed, will result in salvation. An example of this is Islam with its Five Pillars. According to Islam, if the Five Pillars are obeyed, salvation will be granted. Because the idea of a step-by-step process to salvation is appealing, many in the Christian community make the mistake of presenting salvation as a result of a step-by-step process. Roman Catholicism has seven sacraments. Various Christian denominations add baptism, public confession, turning from sin, speaking in tongues, etc., as steps to salvation. But the Bible only presents one step to salvation. When the Philippian jailer asked Paul, "What must I do to be saved?" Paul responded, "Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved" (Acts 16:30-31). Faith in Jesus Christ as the Savior is the only "step" to salvation. The message of the Bible is abundantly clear. We have all sinned against God (Romans 3:23). Because of our sin, we deserve to be eternally separated from God (Romans 6:23). Because of His love for us (John 3:16), God took on human form and died in our place, taking the punishment that we deserve (Romans 5:8; 2 Corinthians 5:21). God promises forgiveness of sins and eternal life in heaven to all who receive, by grace through faith, Jesus Christ as Savior (John 1:12; 3:16; 5:24; Acts 16:31). Salvation is not about certain steps we must follow to earn salvation. Yes, Christians should be baptized. Yes, Christians should publicly confess Christ as Savior. Yes, Christians should turn from sin. Yes, Christians should commit their lives to obeying God. However, these are not steps to salvation. They are results of salvation. Because of our sin, we cannot in any sense earn salvation. We could follow 1000 steps, and it would not be enough. That is why Jesus had to die in our place. We are absolutely incapable of paying our sin debt to God or cleansing ourselves from sin. Only God could accomplish our salvation, and so He did. God Himself completed the "steps" and thereby offers salvation to anyone who will receive it from Him. Salvation and forgiveness of sins is not about following steps. It is about receiving Christ as Savior and recognizing that He has done all of the work for us. God requires one step of us-receiving Jesus Christ as our Savior from sin and fully trusting in Him alone as the way of salvation. That is what distinguishes the Christian faith from all other world religions, each of which has a list of steps that must be followed in order for salvation to be received. The Christian faith recognizes that God has already completed the steps and simply

To be fair if that is a new belief of his, which by what he was saying I'm sure that it is, it's hard to defend something you lack understanding of. It also doesn't help that ray was extremely rude to him and was clearly trying to corner him.
True, it’s not really a religion that many people get to fully understand until they do tons and tons of research since you don’t exactly go to Sunday school to learn
Exactly, and the learning never really stops. Trying to know all there is to know about Asatru and Vanatru is like Thor trying to drink the ocean. This is true of any pagan religion really. But Ray comfort would have a really hard time with an experienced and we'll informed pagan, especially one that studies comparive religion and practices theistic debate. From my experience christians do very poorly in theistic debate because they keep themselves in the dark about other religions so they are stumped when presented with a well thought out argument from an opponent who pays attention to the arguments that christians present. Poor Ray thinks all these non Christians are watching him because he's such a great apologist when actually we are just keeping up on the arguments we will undoubtedly face in debate from all the christians that just emulate him. In all actuality we consider him a B- Lister, popular with Evangelical young Earth creationists who think he's the bees knees but only really good for getting crushed in debate and the occasional banana joke
Your loving act of salvation is based totally in the installation of fear in others. Conversion methods that have only gotten somewhat “kinder” with time but are still the same conversion methods that put millions of pagans to death for standing for what they believe in. Instead by sword or fire, your death is a shallow promise given from an indoctrination placed upon you over thousands of years of decimating and suppressing the beliefs of your ancestors. I wonder if you ever ventured to explore what it is you truly believe, and not only what you were told to believe in and out of fear.
TJ LaCasse The fear = honour God that is the beginning of wisdom. If you honour someone you should now that comes with authority , and that’s the implication of putting a healthy fear in someone because you start to think serious about your salvation ! Even if you would have all the knowledge , and all the riches , would there really a point if you lose your soul and your chance to know the truth about christianity, and your eternal life ? God gives you breath every single day , and it is from the Creator, not many gods. I think if you would start to read the new testament all the questions, and misunderstandings would be completely solved . The truth shall set you free- John 8:31-32 Christianity is about grace not about boasting in knowledge , and a true passion for loving everyone even if they hate you, God loves with an everlasting life, that’s the reason He died for every man on this Earth! I am not againts you, but I would really start to come to God , and ask Him to reveal himself , if it’s all lie, you don’t have to worry about anything and ask many gods for material things, and happiness, but those gods doesn’t love you , and treasure like the One I am talking about . He knows your heart, and everything about you, more than you do!! ❤️ God bless you, and keep you, make His face shine upon you in Jeshua ( Jesus) name! He is there just pray to Him, God is true to His promises!

My experience as a christian growing up was very different. But that's the beauty of the gods, they love all of us, including those who forgot them. How incredibly disrespectful! Mocking the indigenous beliefs of Teutons by calling it "a video game" while at the same time using OUR OWN heathen words against us to promote your Semitic death cult. "God" does not mean the Hebrew El-Yahweh, it comes from the Proto-Germanic and PIE languages which predate Christianity and aren't even on the same ethno-linguistic branch as Hebrew. "Lord" has an agrarian association and is the title for our native progenitor god Ingui-Freyr. And Christian "Hell" is yet another appropriation from Hel or Holle, the caring and benevolent goddess of the underworld Helheim which was NOT a place of punishment or torment. You're just using our own native language to mask your Hebrew tricks and deceive people into abandoning their unique ancestral traditions that predate your Axial Age "revealed" religion by thousands of years.
That's the most ignorant paragraph I've ever read. Your pagan religion holds absolutely zero water and it absolutely not backed up by science and prophecy like Christianity is. You just don't want to follow God's rules. The ONE true God
@@finnwraith196 Religion is by definition nonscientific. However abrahamic religions have often many "plot holes" that get swept under the rug by pastors and priest.
No regrets. No repentance. Leave heaven to the arrogant angels who wish to spend eternity stroking their god’s ego. Live your life to the fullest in every way. If you’re wrong, then you’re wrong. That just means more heaven for the future butlers and maids of Jehovah.
I always smile a bit when I hear a Christian say that there is only one God, then quote the Bible passage where God says, "thou shalt have no other gods before me". Please note that that passage says "no other gods BEFORE me". It doesn't say, "there are no other gods". Christianity is rooted in Judaism. Jews refer to God as "the Lord OUR God". Why? Because there was a time when they recognized that there WERE in fact other gods. Their God was connected specifically to THEM, as a people, via a covenant, and they loyally and proudly pointed that out. The Canaanites had THEIR God, the Egyptians had theirs, the Hittites had THEIRS, the Romans had theirs, etc. They were all real gods - just not "the Lord our God". As for religious myths or stories, they interconnect, like it or not. Jesus hung on a cross, also referred to in old texts as a tree. Odin also hung on a tree. Jesus' side was pierced with a spear. Odin pierced his own side with a spear. Jesus sacrificed His life for humanity. Odin sacrificed his eye for knowledge, which benefitted humanity. Many of the titles and appellations given to Jesus like "Son of God" or "Good Shepherd" come from the pre-Christian world. There are parallels between all faiths, and there is no reason that the Divine Source of All can't manifest Himself/Herself to different people, in different times, in different ways. There are even several passages in the Bible where it is said, "you are gods", including one where Jesus Himself said, "Do you not know that you are gods?" (John 10:34) Jesus, the Son of God for Christians, also says, "Be ye perfect even as I am perfect". In the words of Jesus then, humans, who are sons and daughters of God, ARE Gods, and have the potential to be perfect even as Jesus - one with the Father - is perfect. This video comes across as fake. No serious neo-Pagan or Heathen is going to say, "Oh, I worship Odin and Thor and stuff, you know, like, and I'll go to Valhalla and stuff if I live right" or whatever. Valhalla is for those who die in battle. Others according to Germanic-Norse belief go to the afterlife realms of Vanheim, or Hel (not to be confused with the Christian "hell", which was actually derived from the Norse "Hel"), or other places. And no modern day pagan is going to hear a talk from a guy on a sidewalk about the Bible and convert on the spot. My ancestors were Heathens/Pagans, and they were also Christians. I honor all of them, and respect both belief systems because "God", for me, is bigger than we could ever imagine. Believing that there are many Gods, with different faces and attributes, perhaps all acting in concert, with an underlying unity, makes as much sense as believing that there is one jealous, wrathful God: a god who demanded, for example, that Abraham kill his son Isaac - to prove his loyalty.
The beauty of Jesus to see someone in peril and to step in and say I'll go instead. No greater love. It's the most touching thing that has ever happened in all the history of the earth.

Awesome Ray. Thank you for posting this video. Antinomianism. "I don't have to be good, I have faith." The irony.. the Christian faith asserts that "sin is evil." Evil shouldn't exist. If I believe sin is evil, how often will I do it? Almost never. And when I do, what is readily available to me? God's forgiveness. A lifestyle of abhorring sin and readily being forgiven.

This is why I left the church because their message is not out of love or tolerance, but fear and intolerance of other beliefs. It felt like Christianity just force their religion to others and those who believe different things are condemned. They only see their side, not the perspective of others. This is why I became more sympathetic to Neopagans and become disillusioned with the church. Having a different belief doesn't mean it's something bad. There is no harm nor disrespect in believing in other gods. I don't get why they see this as an offense; this isn't a crime as it does no harm. And didn't they say God forgives? Then why is this guy saying it's not the case? Doesn't that contradicts the message of love, mercy and redemption that Christians often preach?
I am very sorry to hear that you got disillusioned. There is love and tolerance, of a Biblical kind. We should be "bearing with each other in love" Ephesians 4:2 But that doesn't mean that we should tolerate idolatry. Imagine that you have the most excellent father whom you dearly love and respect...and then somebody comes and makes fun of your father and makes your siblings turn against your beloved father. How would you feel? Would you just watch and do nothing? It is the same with a Christian- when somebody tramples all over Our Father's Laws and makes fun of Him, when that person makes other Christians depart from the faith, then there is no place for tolerance. Trouble is, many people in the 21st century are so far away from the LORD they think that we should tolerate everything- every kind of sin, every deceitful teaching, every evil. This is not the case. We are here to uphold God's Laws, no less. We are here as His ambassadors. And yes, there *is* a lot of harm in believing other gods. By doing so, you are breaking the very first Commandment: "Thou shall have no other gods before Me" Exodus 20:3. It is the most serious crime- you are committing a crime of prostitution/adultery against the LORD.
@@jvnd2785 That doesn't mean I should be forced back or be ashamed into going back. I saw the problems and inconsistencies with the church and Bible. That's why I left. Just because I follow a different path does not mean it's something malevolent, despite what Christians/Catholics believe. They think it's so because they don't want others to leave their flock or to question their belief. That first commandment, is that really a moral principle to live by? This and the first 4 commandments doesn't sound like practical pointers for a better life. These sound like vanity and insecurity, and like most dictators, must resort to threats rather than intellectual persuasion to promote a point of view. People have their own beliefs as much as countries have their own culture. It is their right, no one should force them to do otherwise. If anyone can't respect that, then this shows their intolerance for anyone different from them. Again this is just criticism, not making fun or disrepect. People had a lot of good reasons for abandoning Christianity because they've had had enough of it's inconsistencies, conformity, oppressiveness, feeling guilty and ashamed all the time, being told they always falling short or is never enough, growing doubt and not allowed to question God. There is nothing wrong with questioning God. I have questioned and then doubted the church, become disillusioned and left. Understand why people abandon the church and Christianity. Just because they leave doesn't mean it's an excuse to do sin; again people had good reasons to leave. I questioned and left because I expected better, had enough of the guilt, burdens, fear-inducing and inconsistences. Christians may say otherwise, but I truly mean no disrespect in this. I only want to have a fulfilling life not being restricted by dogmas that limits anyone that may as well have since passed because people in the desert don't know much around them.
@@NegiTaiMetal011, you misunderstand, there's nobody here to force or shame you into anything. I have no reason to do any of such things. Please, read this message in a quiet, peaceful way- for I am writing it in such a manner. I am here to listen and to help you. You see, you remind me of myself so much. I was brought up in a strongly Catholic country, my mother forced me to read the Bible as a form of a punishment and for decades I was full of rage when somebody mentioned Christ. I positively hated Christianity, used to say the most awful things about Christ. I went down the "alternative" paths- mysticism and occult and atheism, thinking the same thoughts as you- that there is no sin, that nobody should shame us. That we should have the liberty to choose whatever religion/belief we want. That we should be tolerant against every other belief. I hated dogmas. I wanted to have a fulfilling life right now, right here, while still on this planet. I believed that the Bible was just a concoction of fables, written centuries after any events were supposed to occur by the manipulative Catholic church. I always felt that there must be some Creator but point blank refused to admit that the One I was looking for could be found in Christianity. I wasted 37 years in a search of God that has always been right there with me. Last year, I attempted a su*cide. As I was pushing a knife into my chest, I saw Jesus (you can take this from me: yes, He is as real as it gets). He told me in the most authoritative way "No". Twice. And after that, I could not proceed with my plan. He lifted me up and changed my heart forever. There was so much comfort in Him, it's beyond any words. I spent the following 3 days crying bitterly, realising that He IS, realising that I was looking for Him in all the wrong places all my life. Just a glimpse of His glory- and I knew that I want love the LORD forever, that I want to follow Christ no matter where He leads. Months passed and I marvelled at the changes the LORD made with my heart. I was no longer angry. No longer depressed. No longer I wished to be like the world. Instead, I studied the Bible for hours each day and less that 3 months after Jesus Christ saved me, I was out in the streets, sharing my testimony and sharing the Gospel...and I have not stopped ever since. Now I love the LORD and nothing is too much to do for Him. I want to be Christ-like, nothing less will do. My life is His life, my 24 hours are His 24 hours. There is nothing wrong with asking questions. The Truth doesn't mind being questioned. And the truth is: there is ONE God, the God of the Old and the New Testament. The Bible is truthful and clear- there are no inconsistencies. The LORD is good. We are not! And what does a righteous and good God do with sinners? He could easily send us all to the pit of fire and He would be right to do so...but instead, He sacrificed His Only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, so that those who believe in Him and bear fruit (meaning: do what they are supposed to do) shall have an everlasting life. What a glorious God we have!
@@jvnd2785 If what you said is true, you found Jesus, then alright, that's a miraculous one for you. However this works or viewed differently from other people; one works wonders for you, others see it differently or it's just not for them; we all have our own experiences that differs from one another. Maybe what had transpired is something in your mind or subconcious. Whatever it is, I'm sure you have your own interpretation and feelings for this; that it saved you and it's good and relieving you're alive. If you like to the Christ-like, then sure, I can understand. As for me, I have my own life. For me, I still think there are inconsistencies in the Bible due to the writers of the Bible lived in an unenlightened era. One example, it's been said that God doesn't allow murder, which is agreeable, yet God is responsible for killing some people in the Bible. Isn't that double standard? Again I'm not disrespecting God, just questioning. You may not have to believe there is inconsistencies in the Bible, though understand how and why people say there is such and they can have valid points. If you still believe in the Bible, go right ahead. At least understand that not everyone can believe it because they are rational people and the Bible was written by people who don't know the world around them, have no idea there are other countries and cultures, believing theirs is superior to all. It's also why people leave Christianity because they are being rational and begin to question things. I also notice the Bible doesn't contain things important for humanity such as medicine, engineering and science for example among others. So yes, I read it before so I had experience. You can't expect me to go read it again and I can't be forced to. I've seen other developments and inspiring, motivating and meaningful lessons that make sense such as, for example, those from Marcus Aurelius and Miyamoto Musashi. For me, there are lots of meaningful things asides from just the Bible. I also come to see that during the Medieval ages, it was quite a religious time and it was filled with fear and paranoia because you don't want to be seen as someone with a different belief as they have no tolerance for that. Whatever paranoia and prejudice Christianity may have still lingers, be it from the Medieval ages or back in the Holy Roman Empire. It's like they still believe those things that already have long since already passed. As for this, if you also still follow the 10 Commandments, go right ahead. If it works for you, that's good, however do know that it others have their own. For me, once more no disrespect, I've seen other alternatives to the commandments that are more ethical and make more sense like those from Richard Dawkins, Bertrand Russell and Christopher Hitchens for a few examples. We can just agree to disagree on this. You have your own beliefs and life, I have mine, others have too. Let others believe what they want to believe in so long as they simply do no harm. I left the church with good reasons and to be free of any restrictive dogmas. I realized that whatever faith you believe in, it all comes down whether you are a good person, not a matter of which faith is proper because others have thought theirs is more true than the other. We all have our own paths that we find meaningful and inspiring to us. Just because we choose different paths doesn't mean they're lost nor are bad. Surely an all-knowing, benevolent God that you have would understand this, understand flaws and, like how proper rulers in countries got to be, respect the rights of his people, especially when they question or disagree on something all based on rationality and logic. Different we may be, but we can still coexist with one another just as much as this planet have different countries with their own culture and beliefs. Have a good day.
@@NegiTaiMetal011, I am very sorry to hear that. Truly. There's a saying: you can lead a horse to a stream of water but you cannot make the horse drink water. You have been given a free will by the LORD. Indeed, you can decide you do not want to believe what the Bible says. You can say "I know better". You can tell yourself that your choice is rational/logical. You can even claim that you are a "good person" (if you listen to Ray, you realise that we are all liars, thieves, blasphemers and murderers at heart). But consider where will that decision lead you. The LORD loves us beyond measure...and He is benevolent too. If He weren't, none of us would be here today. None of us would wake up in the morning, having air to breathe, water to drink, food to eat, family/friends to meet. If He weren't benevolent, we would somehow exist in this life and then would go straight to the burning hell- for each and every one of us have broken His laws. It is His benevolence that allows you to be here right now. Because He is merciful and doesn't not want to condemn us all, He is giving us a a way of redemption. He offered Jesus, the Son of God without a sin, as a sacrificial lamb- so that we *can* be saved from what we truly deserve. If you were a father and set some basic rules for your children, so that they can prosper and grow into wholesome adults...and those children would keep lying, stealing, prostituting themselves and offending you, what would you do? Would you say "children, you can do whatever you want"? Or would you try and warn them they are doing the wrong thing? Would you try and prevent them from ending up in a terribly dangerous situation? Would you take a part of yourself and sacrifice that part only so that your children could come back to you and say "I am sorry, dad. I have been wrong and you were right all along"? Would you then joyously welcome your prodigal children and give them everything they need to correct their ways and live with him for an eternity? This is the love our Father in heaven has for us! Do you understand?
Clearly the Gospel is an offense to some. 1 Peter 2:7-8 (KJV) 7 Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner, 8 And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed. 1 Peter 2:7-8 (NASB) 7 This precious value, then, is for you who believe; but for those who disbelieve, “The stone which the builders rejected, This became the very corner stone,” 8 and, “A stone of stumbling and a rock of offense”; for they stumble because they are disobedient to the word, and to this doom they were also appointed

@@NwoDispatcher I'm with you there
@@NwoDispatcher when abrahamists try to define the word god in a way that excludes polytheistic theological concepts in debate I point out that the word god has roots in old Norse and was coined by polytheists who didn't share the relatively new criteria for godhood they are pushing. Even if I believed that he was the sole god of the universe I wouldn't worship him because a cruel demiurge isn't worth worshipping.

The reason why I tell you this is because of this passage from the Gospel of John:
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
John 3:16-21
TL;DR: False gods are false. Praying to them is a sin. Sin leads to spiritual death and eternal punishment. God, however, gave Jesus to save us from sin if we repent and abide in him.

Humility Repentance and Accepting Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is the only way to your Salvation 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Question: "What are the steps to salvation?"
watch the video "What are the steps to salvation?" from Got Questions.

And further more while all the pagan tribes were busy squabbling against each other as the Muslim caliphate attempted and almost succeeded at conquering the know world geuss what. Christian warriors fought that evil and wickedness. Be thankful we have a tolerant society where you are free to worship your own Gods without oppression. Fools
@@darkanddryhumour1822 Mate, have you even read history? Early Christians burned all pagan books and temples they could get their hands on, they destroyed Europe's ancient polytheistic cultures, violently forced Christianity on everyone else and committed countless genocides in the name of their religion. Also Christianity itself doesn't make sense. If God wanted to forgive our sins, why did he send "his son" down to Earth and have him crucified? why didn't he just forgive them? because some mythical guy scrumped an apple!? Christianity is a joke!
@@Akhand_Bharat69 try again. That violent subjugation people scream about is not accurate. For example. The northern crusades. The Prussian pagans massacred the men from villages because they were not easy to control. Women and child slaves were ideal because they could be controlled. And they continued to persist in this obscene behaviour and subsequently they were wasted. Not really hard to understand why. Furthermore the christianization of the northmen started peacefully and the church itself had nothing to do with the few violent conversions that happened. Again you can't blame the religion for the actions of men with power. Christianity does not endorse violent conversion ANYWHERE in it's text. However since you seem to romanticise European paganism I could very easily provide you with documents written by Arab diplomats describing the horrid human sacrifices "which were never willing like they are depicted in tv show Vikings. Which very much takes massive amounts of liberty in it's depiction of the Norse people's" that were horridly vicious and obscene.
To conclude if you want to really point your metaphorical finger at the ones responsible for starting it first you can accuse the Romans and then you can blame the pagans themselves for instigating violence that was entirely unwarranted against innocent civilians and enslaving them.
If your willing I will link you a video series talking about how Christian society interacted with the pagans. I used to hold the same view as you but in all honesty after learning more and listening to lectures I was educated otherwise.

8 And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.
1 Peter 2:7-8 (NASB)
7 This precious value, then, is for you who believe; but for those who disbelieve,
“The stone which the builders rejected,
This became the very corner stone,”
8 and,
“A stone of stumbling and a rock of offense”;
for they stumble because they are disobedient to the word, and to this doom they were also appointed
I gotcha 👍🏼
The offense is not an intent, just a action at the result of a cause.
Did the same. The dude I spoke to was viking drunk. Chill, although unhinged and reckless. Yet he was willing to converse and it was all love, he got freaked out with how much love I showed him though and the blessing I spoke over him in the name of Jesus Our Messiah
You do realize Odin was worshipped before not only video games were invented but before Jesus was even born?
@@CoolCakesJack dont tell him that. He wants to believe in his Christ God and Worship the chosen people
@@CoolCakesJack And even way before even Abraham was born!
Is this I video game? Heathenism has been around longer than Christianity
You did not talk to a Norse Pagan, I don't know what that guys deal was but if he gave any credence whatsoever to jesus or the bible or ten commandments then he is no pagan.
My dead girlfriend was a Christian and the love of my life her god was Jesus and she is in heaven and she knew I was a Norse pagan and that lord Odin and lord Thor are my gods
I don't believe in the the Christian God I'm a wiccan Greek religion and who I love my father of and he loves me back
Just to let you know Greek religion is called Hellenism, I know because that is my friend's religion, I'm a follower of Shinto.
Only One God his name is Jesus Many demons your in matrix Trust Jesus
@@bloodwashedsaint Wrong!
UPDATE: He is an Orthodox Christian now but I am a believer of Ko-Shinto.
"Is that a video game?" lol God Bless you!
I laughed so much. It did sound like a video game though.
Mustve played the new God of war. Great game by the way
@disciple duSeigneur Oh you don't have to tell me brother, I know that the demonic realm is here and thriving, unfortunately. I'm just happy that Jesus chastened me and shown me who he was before it was too late. All glory to the Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
I thought that comment was so rude
There is a video game for PS4 called brawlhalla. It was a clever joke actually!
first off, the first commandment does say "thou shall not put any other gods before me"...... the key words, "other gods" which means that the bible acknowledges the existence of pagan gods, it just tells you not to worship pagan gods if you follow the christian faith
It says dont make a false image of god in your head. A craven image. So there fake God's.
This guys the type of Christian I cant stand, preaching to others that they need to follow his religion and any other religion is wrong. Either way, blessed be.
In honor of this video I challenge all of my brothers and sisters to start trolling street preachers by standing near them and preaching the words of the high one. (Odin) record the whole thing and post it!
Go to their protests and everything!
I'm a warrior but that christian cult can be very violent. I suggest just staying away from them as much as possible.
YEESS
Some pagans just believed that God was another deity among their pantheon.
No, they didn't. The god of Israel is the Borg.
Don’t bully me but I just found out Thor was actually a god people prayed to I thought he was just a superhero
Don’t forget Balder, Bragi, Forseti, Freyr, Heimdall, Hod, Loki, Njord, Tyr, Vili, Ve, Vidar, Freya, Frigga, Sif, Idun, and most importantly Odin
Glad you found the truth. He is also called Dhonar and Thunor depending on which Germanic culture you are drawn to.
That is incredibly sad. I’m sorry.
@@breohtbrusmid489 John 14:6 6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the away, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. 7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
Jesus died for all our sins, for all men, for all time. He is the only way to God; God did this not bc of what we have done, or that we loved Him or were righteous, but bc He loves us. Repent and believe in Him who loves you and you can have hope and peace that can only be found in Christ Jesus.
Gonna say it was kinda disrespectful to ask if this guy’s religion was a video game
You know, being judged by the Christian god reminds me of a joke I read a few years ago. In the courtroom, the judge points his cane at the defendant and says "at the end of this cane sits a truly wretched and horrible criminal". To which the defendant replies "yes, but the question is, which end of the cane?"
@Morey Cabrera you sounded Affended as hell
@L_ mate, the joke sounds like an anarchist joke
True Pagans believe life is a gift.
Christians believe it is and that it's the gift that keeps on giving.
Living Waters!
I am a Celtic Pagan and have a question regarding the video's intent.
How do you define witnessing? Is it in a form of an interview, or is
it meant to inform others of your belief? Furthermore, In curiosity,
what brought you to asking the nose man if his belief is a videogame?
This is more of a mission to spread Christianity. A peaceful crusade essentially.
I couldn't help but notice the genius interviewing people didn't ask them if they mixed their fabrics or sowed seeds of different varieties in their fields.
That's the old testament my G.
@@dukehellmann2344 explain to me how it makes it any less absurd
@@dukehellmann2344 Ok then, you shouldn't have any issues with gay people then, right? Oh wait, you pick and choose to justify bigotry.
I witnessed to a norse pagan this morning, a very tough person to have a dialog with but I'm trusting the Holy Spirit will convict him, soon!!
How about you leave other people alone and worry about yourself.
Convict him soon! So much for xtisnity being a forgiving "religion". I will call on the Esé to return you to native ways.
You should read Matthew 7:1:Judge not, that ye be not judged...God will judge these men...Not you
proud to be pagan

Cain Hrothvitnirson Hail the old gods!
@@zephyr9078 I'm thinking about doing a rebuttal to this video. Ray obviously has a very bias editing style. I want to see the interview unedited.
Gothi Grimwulff Agreed, it would be quite fascinating to see the unedited version of this video. Along with a rebuttal.
@@MadolcheGabbana can you reword that. It was difficult to understand.
Also, do you think your ancestors, prior to Christianity, didn't care for their people and their families? That they were devoid of compassion and morality? To say that other gods are "false" when the whole of the bible happened in one small place, compared to the rest of the world is bias. Truth does not fear investigation. Everyone's ancestors were once Pagan. We all have Pagan roots.
There's something awfully sketchy about how this was edited. It's pretty obvious that these conversations didn't go the way they did in the video.
That being said, shame on the person doing the interview for that videogame comment. For someone who is ostensibly concerned with winning souls for their religion you use a lot of phrases that would make anyone simply just check out of the conversation. Learn some social skills, would ya?
Hail Odin!
