    People don't understand his ideology. He has a "broke" mentality so that he won't spend more than what he has too. When I came out of the army I managed to save up 53k in my 3½ year military career after making about 100k. The reason I was able to save half of my earnings was because I lived on base in a tiny barracks room for free and ate for free at the chow hall 3 times a day. I bought a cash car for like 3k. Meanwhile other soldiers wanted to be extravagant and buy themselves 20k-30k cars and get a house off base and go out to eat everyday sometimes 2 or 3 times a day. Also most soldiers went to bars and clubs on the weekends and drank heavily therefore spent lots of money on just partying. I was simple. I stayed on base and found a female soldier here and there or a civilian woman off base that could keep me company. When i came home i had 53k in my account which by no means is a lot of money. 53k won't last but a year or two if you don't have a steady income. So when I came home i still had that "broke" mentality. I remember hanging out with old friends who were truly broke! I mean these guys had a couple hundred dollars in their account and some of them were still asking friends and family for loans just to get by until next week. I guess one day I was in a bragging mood so I showed my friends on my phone how much was in my account. They went crazy! "Pay for my meal", "buy me a drink", "loan me some money". And I always smiled at them and told them, "I can't I'm broke dude". They'd get so mad and show me their accounts with a couple hundred dollars and say, "I'm the one that's broke!". I always explained to them that 53k isn't shit. It could be gone by the end of the year if I didn't take care of it.

TO was TO on and off the field in a bad way. Gronk and Watt are the same in a mostly positive way. Chad had a TO persona character he played on the field but was a calm, collective, Smart guy who loved the game off the field that you didn’t get a chance to see. again putting a house in someone else don't hide shit or have anything to do with child support. its based on income! now if the same person bought a house in his mothers name and collected rent. He could hide the revenue that way. Then you start messing with IRS and other stuff thats even worse.

    • @moblack5883
      @moblack5883 6 років тому

      child support is based on income and if the person like said athlete stops working his payments will come down then be adjusted to what he should be making. why do you think all them dudes be announcers and stuff like that? Child support is not raised because Joe Blow buys a new watch. That isn't earned income. Even if you own a house for say 5 years. Not young or stupid just a guy who has dealt with it.

    It is indeed all relative, in terms of thought process. One can say from the outside that he's definitely not broke. On another side however, Chad has a point - unless you have enough to really last a lifetime and then some, most of us are pretty much broke unless we keep doing our jobs. And yes, having a frugal sense of mind does help in terms of keeping more in the bank for emergencies.

    Props to Mr. Johnson or seeing through the hype and peer pressure. I know a few folks who are 'well off' (not super rich, just plenty of funds to live a comfortable life). They don't have anything flashy or covered with brand names that make them stick out from the crowd, just well put-together. Best thing I heard from one was "this nice, well-made. $200 Citizen watch I'm wearing tells time just as accurately as a $20,000 Rolex watch."

    How in the fuck can you not like chad johnson? He's definitely got charisma and a wonderful personality. I live here in cincinnati and back in the summer of 2006 chad literally stopped in the bar i was at for only 20 mins or so. He bought the entire bar/restaurant a drink ...left a killer undisclosed tip(huge smiling servers) and went on his way in his white dodge magnum (at the time. I happened to have a fresh football in my truck and i said hi to chad outside of bar and mentioned i had a ball and thanked him for the drink and asked if he could catch just one deep one for me if i threw. He said can you throw 50 yards? I said, i can do 55. He took off running in parking lot. I threw it deep every bit of 55 and dropped it in chad's eggbasket hands so smoothly. Chad came back all smiling we smacked hands and i said i really appreciate what you are doing here in cincinnati. (i was almost 7 years old when the 1988 Bengals superbowl loss). He said ya know everyone said aw man sucks bengals drafted you (2001 draft) and he said to them ya know what im going to make it fun. Boy did he ever!! Chad johnson is a LEGEND!!
    THE MAN WOULD BUY OUT THE STADIUM TICKETS JUST SO IT COULD BE TELEVISED(BACK IN THE DAYS THEY HAD BLACK OUTS)...Alot of people dont know him like a lot of true fans do. He is a great guy and has done many things no one knows about or that he even cares to get credit for.
