Incredible hack, I played a few minutes and it's actually much more fun than the original, it's a fair version, the game isn't easy, you knew how to make a balanced version, congratulations.
Wait, why does the sprite look different, the last time I played this hack the player sprite looked more akin to the C64 T1 and T2, did I get an older version?
I wish somebody would give the first two games this treatment - referring to the C64 versions, specifically. The scrolling's easily the worst part of those two games.
@@ShiryuGL Yeah. The issue I have isn't the actual scrolling or parallax scrolling, that aspect's pretty impressive IMO. For me it's the fact that Turrican and Bren are always at the far side of the screen which makes it hard to see oncoming hazards. In essence, the camera. That was a problem in this too, but thankfully this hack addresses it.

Scrolling on C64 as always been a super-tricky proposition.
