I’m amazed that he’s still restoring more airplanes after all these years! I would love to understand how he keeps funding this. I wish Kermit would live forever and just keep restoring airplanes!
@@email4664 Go to F of F when they reopen. I used to go a couple times a year. I felt like Kermit was a friend. If he was not involved with something. He was willing to talk about the planes, ones my FIL flew in WW II It was something I miss about not being in FL.
Love that you can do these things....... IF I hit that big lottery (lol) I'll jump in and held procure some more great planes through your *Go Fund Me account🤔.......Question ? ..... how is the Great Waldo Pepper coming along ?.. has it flown yet... need more info. Thank You for keeping us up to date.👍👍👍
An amazing coincidence that driver Buddy Chapman, after this delivery, was going back out to pick up Dreadnought; an airplane with which I have a small but significant connection. "I'm actually feeling some lift!" made me laugh out loud... that must be one helluva wing. What a beautiful airplane; I've enjoyed following the restoration. Hope to see it at Sun & Fun. Also hope that you're finding time to fly between all the plates you have spinning. Thanks as always for sharing.
WHAT A STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL AEROPLANE !!--AND THAT BEAUTIFUL ENGINE !!--I COULD LOOK AT FOREVER ! --AND WHAT A WONDERFUL CREW,-THAT CERTAINLY "KNOW THEIR OATS"-
Thanks for another great video Kermit. It was interesting. Beautiful aircraft Kermit. Very nice. Everyone did a great job in loading it. Got it all unloaded and in the building. Great. Hope to see it fly in the relatively near future. Wonderful aircraft. Thanks. Retired Air Force veteran.
It is gorgeous! Congratulations! So refreshing to see it roll out of the trailer, compared to when we packed it into the container bak at WAM. I can't wait to see it again at SNF!
For most of us working class guys we are used to fresh out of the box is hoping it's a good lunch. 😁👍 I'm happy you share . Even if I can't afford what you get it's nice to see you enjoy and at least we get to live through you. It's like watching travel shows of places in Europe I've been. I see other's eat and drink. I drool a bit but can't taste it.
I did some of the detail paint work on this plane. I also did the artwork on 3 of the other planes Roy Rehm is building. It was such an honor and privilege to work with Roy and see what it takes to build these stunning planes. Roy's work is something to be seen.
Never thought I'd be so enthralled with watching a video of them unboxing an aircraft but yet here I am and I agree with Kermit that's not a plane that is a piece of art, What a Beautiful biplane!
Slow is smooth and smooth is fast. Thanks for the video and your care of aviation history, inspiration, and enlightenment to the accomplishments of others.
I'm glad you showed some clips of your visit to Roy's shop those many moons ago. All those variations of the same aircraft. Youve got one home (Kewl!). If you want someone to crank on the handle...
I had a spectacular collection of aircraft when I was a young man, one that rivaled Kermit's. Perfectly detailed to the tiniest wire scale models. 😂 Kermit is beyond belief, not only owning or curating these aircraft, but flying them too. I can't begin to imagine the number of endorsements in his log. Alas, I will continue to live vicariously through these videos.
Congrats on this beautiful bird. I volunteered at POF Chino for several yrs non A&P but lent helping hand. I appreciate the history of your restoration team & POF. Hope see fly soon.
🤐 LOL, yep, I read your comments Kermit, so now moving right along. I saw how much sweat was on the Chapman trucker's T shirt, so I guess it was pretty warm in that big container. What a great day to finally have one of your precious art works returned back into your care! Looking forward to the next video of the Boeing 100 getting it's wings put on. Thank you so much. Kiwi David 🇳🇿
When I see the area I used to tour. That’s now the maintenance, storage. (As Kermit intended) I really want to get back to FL to see the new digs. I remember him talking about it.
The Wizard of Orlampa never ceases to amaze. FOF is on my bucket list, and I'll gladly pay for a back, or right side ride with the maestro. Kermit I know you were based in South FL for years, curious if you knew my uncle, Jim Hill, had a FBO at FLL in 70's - 80's. South Florida Aircraft. They specialized in Beagle 206's.
Pretty airplane in the two tone green. (the light color looks like a pale greenish grey to me at the moment)(brings to mind some Seaboard Air Line passenger train diesels in 1950s painted a light minty green hue which camera film usually interpreted as white) Plane fits in trailer in a manner not overly unlike how the ten pound housecat fits in a shoebox a bit off to my left.
Love that priceless antiques are being hauled around in a non-descript ratty looking old trailer. Nothing to see here folks, move along. Looking forward to the video of this old bird back in the sky here she belongs.
Gorgeous!😍
I believe the Boeing museum has a model 100 on display...
Nobody does an unboxing like Kermit. What a cool and rare machine that 100 is!
A little bigger unboxing than I am used to, (8 foot wing span).
You have a wonderful group of people working with you Kermit!
Congratulations, Mr. Weeks! I know your glad to have it home, after 30 years!
Boy is that one gorgeous machine, she’s a keeper.
My gosh Roy did an amazing job on the beautiful Airplane......Thanks Kermit & crew 👍

Thank you "Big Oil"
Fantastic, I’ve been following this rebuild for a long while, glad you got it done and back to FOF.
A beautiful plane from a bygone era. Fantastic! Can't wait for Kermi to take it up with a camera and give us all a ride. Salute o7!
Looks like a pristine job done there. Immaculate and sharp and gorgeous.
Just freaking FANTASTIC!
You definitely got a very beautiful airplane back home. She looks stunning. 👍
Too cool! Great videos. Thank you.

It is gorgeous. Love the colors too!
0:56 Guys standing in the hangar doorway: “Oh, kack, here comes another one, where are we gonna put it?” 😂
The aviation version of "The History Guy". Thank you Kermit. Now that I am living in Florida I must visit FoF again soon.👍👍
Wow ! That looks magnificent !!😊

Every time I see that twisted pile of Aircraft Anxiety in a flash back, my tummy does a bit of a flip. o~0 Andrew was not kind that day.
Thanks for the video Kermit, after the last couple days, I needed this so very much.
What a Beauty ! WOW 😍👍
Thats the spirit of MADE IN USA ALWAYS POWERFUL

What a beautiful aircraft! So glad it could be saved. Now to put the wind beneath its wings!
30 years waiting?? God that`s surely love.

kermits always got the coolest 1:1 scale airplane kits!!!
I agree with Kermit it's a piece of art (valuable art 30 years in the making!) ...Beautiful
"Hey Ken don't we have some roll around wing racks?" I was waiting for the reply. "Yes we do, but they're all full Kermit" So many projects....LOL
This was great.! "We could just put it on the airplane..." FTW.

An artist for sure.

Kermit does so much for aviation history. So glad has shared alot of this footage
It would be nice to see her flying again. Glad to see her back at FOF where she belongs.
What an awesome looking aircraft, they sound awesome too.
A legend, a jewel of aviation. Nothing to add, just thanks for the great video.
That is one beautiful plane.
That is one beautiful restoration! I’d love to see it in person.
I'm glad you showed some clips of your visit to Roy's shop those many moons ago. All those variations of the same aircraft. Youve got one home (Kewl!). If you want someone to crank on the handle...
What a BEAUTIFUL project!!!!!!! Looking forward to the maiden!!!!!!!!
Beautiful aircraft, can't wait to see it together and the Kermit Cam of you flying it. Thanks for sharing!!

So freaking cool!! Congrats on the project getting to this point. Can't wait to see it assembled and ready for flight.
That upper wing has been sitting so long, does it need a punch test? Absolutely a beautiful bird...
Kermit,
I love how you suggest what you want, by asking a question.
My lady does that. 😎
That crew led by Kermit sure knows how to make an easy job look real hard. Nice aeroplane.
Moving a $$$$$ plane is never an easy job!
This is the one I was waiting for, can't wait to see her fly!
Gorgeous!!
I remember this ship in Miami..
Fantastic rebirth…

Wow, look at the CAC Wirraway in the background, that would look great with the CAC Boomerang!
I had been wondering how this project was going, happy to finally get an update on it!
When I see the area I used to tour. That’s now the maintenance, storage. (As Kermit intended) I really want to get back to FL to see the new digs. I remember him talking about it.
So so so cooool!

Man, I know what it's like to get a new RC airplane, I can't imagine how thrilled Kermit is when these show up at his doorstep!
Dang that's a beautiful plane!!
Beautiful job 😂😂😂😂 6:08
Pure art ❤

Beautiful restoration, but 30 years is crazy. Sounds more like a patronage, but there's nothing wrong with that if that's how it worked out.
Love that priceless antiques are being hauled around in a non-descript ratty looking old trailer. Nothing to see here folks, move along. Looking forward to the video of this old bird back in the sky here she belongs.
Those guys at Fantasy of Flight are awesome 💪🤛 they did great job keeping the fantasy alive ✈️
I remember before Andrew you flew one of these to Richards field. we all watched you depart and how great it climbed out going toward Tamiami
Kermit is the Jay Leno of aircraft.
Absolutely art. ❤
Kermit, you have some amazing air planes. Some day I would love to visit your museum.
Kermit , you must have been devastated after hurricane Andrew. This one looks great.
Perfection is sometimes worth waiting for
It certainly takes patience to have these flying machines restored!
Absolutely stunning! This aircraft looks like it is related to the P-12/F4B series....
SO beautiful!!!
