MPAGD Tips 9: Enabling Adventure Mode for CPC and Spectrum

Adventure mode allows an author to make changes to screen layouts during the game by using the PUTBLOCK command. Changes last until the end of the game, at which point the screens revert to their original layouts. This video shows how to activate this mode on the Amstrad CPC and ZX Spectrum

Is there any reason not to use adventure mode? Does it use up more memory?
