- Hey guys! In todays video I will be going over 5 things to lookout for when trying to tell if a pair of Gucci sunglasses are authentic or replicas. The replicas have come a long way and are now very similar to the authentic pairs. Most people look for Bargains when buying their designer items so they buy used from sites like Mercari, eBay and OfferUp. They get good deals but sometimes are not able to tell if the pairs they are about to purchase are authentic. I go over 5 things that will help you make a decision on if the pair you’re about to buy is authentic, if not at the very least you’ll end up with a very good replica lol. They can do that frame because it is so Simple. I just had a fake like that sold to me on poshmark. A lot cheaper metal, wirey, it will always be a little lighter. Think like the fakir catch the fakir. for gucci it is good to learn all the case colors and combinations helps you weed out fakes at a snap of a finger. Text on the Case is Bigger, fatter letters

Hi! Thanks for the video! I have almost these exact glasses (round pair), bought from a trustworthy source. But I noticed that the serial number & ‘made in Japan’ is starting to rub off on both arms. Has this happened to anyone else whose glasses are authentic? For context, I wear them almost daily and have had them for about a year. They are a little scuffed and ‘loved’ at this point but I’ve never heard of the number rubbing off
Hello! I have several pairs of authentic sunnies as well as “seeing” glasses from Gucci, and yes!to answer your question, the printing on the inside has faded on most of my worn glasses and completely gone on my everyday readers.

@gogetterscartel Do the gucci velvet sunglass cases come in different sizes? I got a second pair of gucci shades and the velvet case was slightly larger than the one that I already have? Is one of them fake or have you seen different size cases?
Hello! To answer your question, yes! I believe there are 2 different sizes depending on the glasses. I’ve received from Gucci website 2 different size on cases. My reading glasses were in a smaller case from my much larger sunnies.
Depending on the size of the glasses that will be the size of the case. Smaller Gucci Sunglasses have smaller cases. Bigger ones bigger cases. They do this to properly house the sunglasses so they do not move around within the case.

I imagine they are real since I got them from the Gucci website. I aint taking no chances of knock offs which are flooding the markets .
Some people will return fakes to get their money back while keeping the real pair as well.. as to if they check them before reselling or resending them to a new customer im not sure. I would assume that they do and if they don't they need to be triple checking that shit. But if the packaging or case looks completely sealed and untouched id think it could very well get a pass from a lazy employee or worker LOL
