We Took our Florida Kids to a Virginia Lake Beach

Our kids have grown up in Florida going to theme parks, waterparks, beaches, and more. In Florida, you can swim in salt water, but most people avoid the freshwater (other than the springs) because of the potential of dangerous wildlife! Therefore, on a recent trip to Virginia, we wanted to take our kids to a Virginia lake beach for the first time and see how they’d react. Plus, we really wanted to be able to fill up the day with activities so that we could make some meaningful memories together.
