AF protect dip is pretty strong. I've done the same. Sucks

These things happen mate, the main thing is you've learnt a lesson from it. Isnt Isn't first and won't be the last. You don't get an amazing tank like yours without a few bumps along the road.

It wasn't too bad... I didn't have to hide the receipt from the Mrs 😂
I'm hoping for the best but it seems to be getting progressively worse. We'll see though, I haven't lost all hope yet
@@NanoTankReefer you could try snipping a bit off dipping it in revive and put it in a lower flow area. You never know
Not a bad shout, there's 1 branch that doesn't have any stripping yet. I may just nip that piece off and hopefully save that if nothing else
@@NanoTankReefer yeah I've done it a few times with mille and deep water colonies after dosers fail. (usually down to my bad maintenance of them) with probably 50/50 success. I've been told revive is less aggressive than RX. Slightly different ingredients
I'll pick myself up some revive dip for future sps dips. I usually use RX and have never had any issues before. I put it in a safe place as the Mrs most likely told me to clear my crap up 😂 couldn't find it so went for the AF dip instead. It's alot more potent than I'm used to

It's still in the tank and will stay until the point it's has fully died. It haven't got any worse since I uploaded so am more hopeful of its survival
Mate that hurts so bad but as reefers we know that every now and then we just wing it.. I do it all the time and that is our nature the key is you know how you would do it differently and just swear a bit.. I did that to the most beautiful strawberry shortcake ever a few months back 😿😿😿
It'll teach me for being a lazy git! Live and learn... I won't be doing it again that's for sure

I've always winged it with coral RX and never had any issues. I think the AF stuff is alot more potent. I'll be sticking to my RX dip from now on

Nothing wrong with being a gear junkie, some people like kitted out cars some like kitted out tanks. It may not be everyone's thing but it's what I like to spend my hard earned money on 🙂
