(Sorry, posted from the wrong account at first) But, you can definitely wear claw clips! You may need to stretch your hair or blowdry it, but you can definitely make it work. There's quite a few tutorials out there and I've done it before myself (I also have 4b/4c hair)

Don't think u can't wear a claw clip! U have to mold the sides of your hair. I use gel, then edge control on my edges, then put my hair in a slightly high ponytail, then put a scarf on to lay my hair for like a hr, then add the claw clip, then spray my hair with water & put a lil gel or mousse on the ends of my hair that's hanging out the clip to make my curls pop all day 🙃
