Hello Ula and Josh. My grandmother was a super lady. She teach me how to pray, spoke fairy tale to me,.. An old lady born in Austria - Hungary empires. She always hugged me, I remember, I brought her flowers as a boy. Alwasy cooked, worked as a woman. She tought me a lot of things. To be good, nice, order, discipline, to be quiet etc,... I remember when she died. I was there. Thats life. Have a beautiful day. Bye. Rudi.
you should start " Guerrilla gardening". Planting little garden plots wherever you moor, keeping track of them on a map so whenever your in the area you can get some "foraging" in off of your little garden spot. You can let friends and fellow boaters know if you choose and share.
Another beautiful vlog, you are two of the most beautiful souls i have had the pleasure of getting to know, thank you so much for sharing your life with us xx

Just Invite Me!!! I will come and spend a week or two with you both! And teach you how to fish also!! Loved the peace and serenity that yaw expeniece ever day!!!
Love that you are using your grandfather's rod. I still have the one my late uncle taught me to fish with and my son has been using it too. Invest in some barbless hooks (size 12) and buy a disgorger or forceps so you can get the fish back in quickly. Bread and sweetcorn will work too. Just squash a bit of bread on the hook and crack on. Deeper, shady bits are best. Tight lines 👍
I must say that I am not getting notifications of when you have put a video up., was wondering where you were. A lovely relaxing video and the music was just right. Glad you got unstuck.

The bait can vary immensely, worms, maggots, bread, corn, meat. If you ever see any fish, just try baiting the water a little, see what gets eaten. But please make sure you have a fishing license, it's mot worth the fine for the sake of 30ish pounds.

Hi Josh - course/river fishing can be really basic - I’d defo recommend getting some maggots as bait, say 1/2 Pint mixed & size 12/14 hooks & maybe a self cocking float - You’ll find you will will prob catch Rudd/Roach/Perch/Bream/Chubb - they don’t have to be big but really enjoyable - all the best mate….

Hello as always ur videos are relaxing to watch and seeing the wildlife in their natural environment is lovely that bird in the tree minding made me amused seeing him standing on a thin branch beautiful seeing babies out seeing them ducks line up in threes like they waiting for their boat bus lol 😂 I don’t see a lot and when I do it makes my day more happier to be in this world xxx love to u both xx
My grandad had the same fishing rod. I borrowed one day without asking and got it all tangled up in the trees. I got such a bollocking I never went back to it.
I was wondering how the biting bug situation is on the canals? I work in the woods of North Yorkshire and this time of year is awful for clegs and mosquitoes.
Yet another great video Ula and Josh, keep up the fishing Josh, you’ll get there. I still have my fishing gear at my daughters although I haven’t fished since my dad died in 2002 when I was in Germany, he would have been 100 today if he was still alive. He was Royal Navy and his ship was HMS Sussex, google it and read its history from when the Japs surrendered on the ship and when it was hit with a plane ❤ still looking as beautiful as ever Ula, Josh you’re a lucky man 😊
Hey Josh that fishing rod is a real gem mate ! a collectors piece even ! i can actually remember that model being on sale in tackle shops (giving my age away here) anyhow canal fish are usually shy biters so i would recommend small hooks and fine hook legnths ie 16 or 18 to 2lbs breaking strain line, as for bait ordinary earth worm will usually get you a fish or two another great bait is bread i feel the fish see this as a natural food as so much finds its way into the canal via people feeding water foul. Anyhow keep us posted regards your angling exploits great channel you two keep em coming
Get a tin of sweet corn put one piece on hook and when you've cast through a few pieces around your float also bread works well I fish on the kennet and avon good luck
Hello ! I love to follow you on UA-cam and I can say you inspire me. But I'm french and I don't understand very well, not well enough. Could you insert a translation in french please ? Thank you for all ! and have a really good journey and a beautifull life !!!
freedom!!! what a great feeling to finally be off. loved the lilting music. Ula - Emily (of Ben and Emily) also uses the flowers of the hawthorne - adding the berries later - if I remember rightly vodka was involved! lovely to see you guys foraging and learning from you. good idea from richardjensen below about the guerilla gardening to find next time you pass by

Another great VLOG guys. Ulla, are you doing "voice overs"? Recently I have seen some AIR bnb ads and the voice sounds very similar to yours??? Nice to see Josh mastering the Captain,s role, keep the vlogs coming !!!
Smelly bait. My granddad made sticky, doughy balls of bread moistened with bacon grease and mixed with grated cheese. He caught fish so they must have worked.
Hope Marty's tip for revering helped you guys out. Time to buy a tiller arm and pin ;ooling how far Josh was having to lean to steer the boat in the wind?
Odd question-that broad leaf plant visible out of your bedroom window as you got up(slowly) is it rhubarb and how prevalent is it, have seen it a lot on other channels

great Vvlog guys thanks you
Thank you so much xx
Hello as always ur videos are relaxing to watch and seeing the wildlife in their natural environment is lovely that bird in the tree minding made me amused seeing him standing on a thin branch beautiful seeing babies out seeing them ducks line up in threes like they waiting for their boat bus lol 😂 I don’t see a lot and when I do it makes my day more happier to be in this world xxx love to u both xx
My grandad had the same fishing rod. I borrowed one day without asking and got it all tangled up in the trees.
I got such a bollocking I never went back to it.
Oh nooooo! You must pick it up again if you loved fishing :)
I was wondering how the biting bug situation is on the canals? I work in the woods of North Yorkshire and this time of year is awful for clegs and mosquitoes.
Hahaha have you seen our latest video 🤪🦟🐜🕷️
@@UlaandJosh I did 😊. That was what I was worried about 😂
Yet another great video Ula and Josh, keep up the fishing Josh, you’ll get there.
Ohhhhh good tip :)
Hello ! I love to follow you on UA-cam and I can say you inspire me. But I'm french and I don't understand very well, not well enough. Could you insert a translation in french please ? Thank you for all ! and have a really good journey and a beautifull life !!!
Ohh I wonder how to do that. We'll research it and fine out for you lovely. Thankyou very much
freedom!!! what a great feeling to finally be off. loved the lilting music. Ula - Emily (of Ben and Emily) also uses the flowers of the hawthorne - adding the berries later - if I remember rightly vodka was involved! lovely to see you guys foraging and learning from you. good idea from richardjensen below about the guerilla gardening to find next time you pass by
Ohhh lovely, that's really cool. Thankyou for sharing that!! We'll have to check it out :)
Thanks for the lovely comment too :) all the best Momma hill x
Good evening to yee both... What are yee brewing in the demijohns.. I am currently making elderflower wine which I forage. I love forraging. 😊
One is wild plum gin and the other is wild plum vodka
Another great VLOG guys. Ulla, are you doing "voice overs"? Recently I have seen some AIR bnb ads and the voice sounds very similar to yours??? Nice to see Josh mastering the Captain,s role, keep the vlogs coming !!!
Hiya John, no that wouldn’t have been me. Just voice overs for our videos only :)
Tip for josh if you want more worms soapy water brings them to the surface
Oh nice one buddy, thankyou 😀
Love you,love you..great personalities❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
❤️❤️❤️✨
Smelly bait. My granddad made sticky, doughy balls of bread moistened with bacon grease and mixed with grated cheese. He caught fish so they must have worked.
Wow what a combo … they sound as if they definitely would have worked 😳
Hope Marty's tip for revering helped you guys out. Time to buy a tiller arm and pin ;ooling how far Josh was having to lean to steer the boat in the wind?
We really need to get that sorted!!!
Odd question-that broad leaf plant visible out of your bedroom window as you got up(slowly) is it rhubarb and how prevalent is it, have seen it a lot on other channels
Wow is it really??
I love your videos
Thank you xx
