    You really do have to lock your bike up in New Zealand, coming from a New Zealander (that grew up in Palmerston North)! We have one of the worst theft problems I've encountered in my one year of world travels. Also, your pronunciation of Manawatu is perfect :) Nice video guys its good to see our home town from a different perspective.

    Back in 2010 to 2016 the nightclubs were pumping however the students got to drunk causing trouble so the police and palmy officials decided to only have certain clubs open until 3am I used to live at the Hubb where I witnessed intoxicated students playing up lol

    There is fuck all to do in Palmy unless you're a family with kids. Singles and young things have to wait for the pubs to open.

      @@NZPocketGuide Palmy* not Parlmy. And yes, but one ou've done everything possible and been there for long enough it gets sooo boring. The river track is the best prt though, and they just built a new bridge and w hole new path to linton!

    what's the nationality of the guy? i'm really curious with his accent.

    • @NZPocketGuide
      @NZPocketGuide  5 років тому

      Robin is French originally (but left France to travel quite a while ago now) and Laura is English :) What was you guess?

      @@NZPocketGuide Interesting! He's a French and yet, he can pronounce the 'th' in Palmerston North. At first I thought he was a Dutch but then he sounded like a speaker of a Romance language. so, more or less he's a French.

    • @NZPocketGuide
      @NZPocketGuide  5 років тому
