I've had mine for about a year or more now and still working perfectly, considering taking out the rotor to make it a manual wind only watch, the rotor is a little louder than id like, but only noticeable in a really quiet environment, i think it'll make a great manual wind though.

Yes you can there's a quick set date button on the left side.
I think that the ST SEAGULL 2505 movement is the best by far among all chinese movements.

I have bought this wonderful Parnis power reserve watch.
It's about 25 seconds fast per day, though. Would you know where and how to adjust the movement?

How's the watch holding up? Since Seagull's own 219.327 which uses the same ST2505 movement cost almost $400. (I believe you can buy 4 Parnis for that money) Wondering if the rumor is true that the likes of Parnis uses culled seagull movements. If your experience is good, then I'll probably end up go for this watch and save $300 for sushi or something.

Is the watch really to stand 3 atm water pressure?
That's very easy to do, but you'll need a Timegrapher machine for that, not to mention the tool for opening the back of the watch.
Take it to a watchmaker. that's a easy and cheap fix.

The homage watches are way better than the replicas. They are honest about what they are selling. When you're buying a replica you never know about the movement. Some of the Seagull movements are actually as good as Eta movements. Don't bother finding a good replica, just buy some of these beautiful timepieces. Don't waste your money. These homage watches lasts for years.

Mine is keeping very good time , but after wearing it for a couple of days without taking it off the power reserve hand has passed 45 and gone down passed the 3 ..
I fixed the power reserve by manually winding it even though it was fully wound and gradually the power reserve hand went around and I continued until the hand showed it on the 45 ...
You know if we can change the date without cycling through 24 hours with the crown?
usually theres multiple crown positions that you can pull into but i only have the default handwinding and when i pull , hour setting.
Good advice, buy your Parnis only via the official website or from a boutique. Otherwise you buy the "low cost" version. see parnis.org/pages/faq
Looks near identical to the Seagull M172S except for the right subdial.
You did not place the magnifying glass close enough to the the watch to obtain a clear magnified view!

This strap is from Crownandbuckle it's the Lotus model.
Sure thing one more question though the watch on manbushijie, the photo shows a very blue hands and numerals in contrast to this one. Are they still the same?

It's still running great since December 8 so it's going also 1 1/2 months later, I am seeing about 4 seconds fast a day.
The previous Parnis automatic I had with a 2505 was running about 6~ seconds slow. This one is my second one, so far I am pleased with the two Parnis watches I bought from manbushijie.
I see so many Parnis vids where people talk of the seller....and say his name but it just sounds like Man Boo Shee Shee?....what da hell is the name can someone type it?

You went on and on about the strap and the finish but did not mention any important criteria about the watch such as how you set the date and is the watch hackable and can it be wound on the crown and how accurate is it... = thumbs down.

Date is set by an offset push button on the left side. Yes, it is hackable. Yes, you can wind it by the crown. (When you pull the crown out one notch to set the time, the second hand stops). Yes, it keeps very good time.
Hi I just bought 1. I have a problem. I am an engineer I do a lot of manual work. my power reserve is always full since it will automatically wind. Yesterday it went beyond 45 and as it did that, It kicked back to zero. I left the watch untouch, from fear the winding broke... But now the power reserve is going down anticlockwise below zero. Its already overlap with number 3 on the dial and keeps going backwards. is it broken?
And don't it have a protection against overwinding?
I cant wear it as the power reserve is full then?

Sounds like you got a defective watch, try to contact the vendor. It does have overwind protection iirc it's visible from the case back it's a pawl lever with a leaf spring. I forget the exact way it works but it uses the tension from the mainspring to trigger the pawl to shift the gear that winds which prevents the automatic system gear from winding the mainspring further.
Try making a royals royce in china.

If this watch has 38 jewels as they claim it is the deal of your life . For around one hundred bucks the quality is unrivalled .Sure if you pay over ten grand the watches are made by virgins in climate controlled undies , but to tell the time these are great
I've bought several watches from Chine and so far only one was garbage , but it was so cheap there was no choice but to be crap .
More reviews should be done of these Chinese watches .

Check out "Kinyued" brand automatic watches. I have one in my collection and it works perfectly. Some Chinese watches are hit and miss but the quality of Kinyued seem to be excellent, very well made and keep perfect time. I also have a Jaragar model H057M which is perfect, but have other model Jaragars that are not so good.
