It's the lighting... for one thing store owners would hate to waste so much electricity.... for another: the fish don't actually appreciate it that much....
Those snapping turtles are albino Alligator snapping turtles, we don’t have many of any at all here in the US, just regular albino common snapping turtles sell for $2000 up at hatchling size, an albino alligator snapper would probably sell for much much more here, amazing to be able to see full grown adults for sale
I remember being in one of these markets in China. Some stores had totes full of dojo loaches selling for pennies each. I think they might have been selling the dojos as feeders.
Love the video my brother went there with his Chinese wife showed me photos but nothing what you showed me this complex is a fish keepers utopia thanks for showing me ❤
Nice video! Guangzhou fish market !!! But you missed the good spots! Those shops are resellers! Next time go out and around the flower shops! The good stuff in hide there in some warehouses
Loved the video it makes me very envious I have a fancy goldfish freak from a very young age [6] I am now coming up 78 and still as enthusiastic as ever so love see your video's of the east
Can you do a clip on medicating fish 101. What to do if over medicate….I medicated for first time ever and I did it before my morning coffee. I doubled the dose! So I did a 60 percent water change. Never seen my bristle nose move so fast to get air! Hopefully they are alive tomorrow! 😬
What's the rate of our Asian cousins having aquariums? Do more Asian homes have aquariums than in the US? Any notable countries? I love all things aquarium and I LOVED THIS VID!❤
I always believe the fish you buy is always heavily stressed before you bring them to your tank. When you complain to the store that the fish is dead within a few days of buying they will tell you , it was your fault . But in reality it was their .
@@mettugran we as humans though, being the superior animal do need to be humane with all living creatures. If they were to live all of their lives in cramped quarters that would be cruel, I assume it is just for selling purposes. It still has to be superior water quality or many of them would be dead already.

America doesn't do this because???
Also...Some of those tanks looked like they had solar panels on the bottom.
I'm getting weird ideas.
The colors that th e se fish are showing is incredible!! I've never been to a store in the US where the colors pop so much!!
Some almost look like candy store fronts haha

It's always a good day whem Cory releases a new "tour" video :) just wish it was way longer like what it used to be back in the older days :/

Ha! At 8:35 the lady bagging the Betta spins it like a cyclone!! #dizzyfish
Nice! Makes Petco and Petsmart look like a consignment shop.
That cat was hilarious. It was straight up like “dude why are you watching me drink water?”
My goodness, the quality and selection they have... I WISH my LFS had half of the quality, quantity and variety that you display in this video.
Looks like a grate place to visit and a fish keepers paradise
It’s like a 24/7 fish convention!
It's a whole different world!!!
That"s a fish keepers paradise! In a place that massive with so many things to look at I would disappear and never be seen again.
They are so advanced. I am always amazed by those videos in asia.
Love koi ❤
That poor betta at around 8:32 getting spun around.
I love this.
At 12:50 I'm like "Why did they put a door handle on a tank?" It's an open door Einstein.
This is a re post but well worth watching a 2nd time.
I thought the same! Lol
It was a members only video that we edited and decided to release to the public. 👍 ~Irene
@@AquariumCoopI thought I was going insane! Lol. I was trying to figure out why it felt like I'd seen this before. 🤣
8:33 that betta just went on a roller coaster ride 😢😂

If I could walk around this fish shop, it would definitely be very exciting and an interesting adventure

I got hungry watching this video
And Cory’s concluding understatement, “It’s nutty.”
i would be broke if i could go into a plant store like that and buy bags of plants.
Soo many choice I don't think I could actually make a decision.
How can the filter keep the bare bottom tank so clean, totally clear of waste.
Soo cool what an adventure!
Wow nice!

So, those long/wide tanks at around 11:51 that look like "long boys" with all the aquatic plants, where they glass or acrylic tanks?
Wish there was something like this near me!

Awesome
Alot of tanks that are way to small for the fish there
What are the location in chaina exact location please
How do they make money with so much competition
👍🏻👍🏻
Arowana doesn’t do it for me, I prefer many more smaller fish 😊.
8:31 poor fish being swirled like that😥😥😥😥😥😥
@ 8:33 in, you can see the BETA lady spinning the bag WITH the fish in it. SO SAD!
Way too many fish in a tank. So sad..
8:28 was there a fish in that bag? i hope not
As a fish store employee this is my wotst nughtmare kmao. All "money fish"! Not my kinda store at all.
That lady was kinda ruff bagging that beta
I cannot stand all these massive fish and reptiles in such cramped conditions.
Was thinking the same. Hopefully someone buy them quickly and put them in bigger, better aquariums so that these small ones just gets temporary.
Right or wrong, This seems extremely preferable to whatever petsmart/petco are doing.
Boo hoo 🤣
