Would have been nice if you had labelled what you are disassembling with onscreen texts (since your not talking), but I noticed you put most of it in the description. Cool video! Thank you!!
@@andrewmsd3580 Absolutely, Windows used to take a lot to boot and now it boots in a few seconds. If you have this laptop you'd definitely want to upgrade to an SSD. I have tried Sandisk and a Western Digital blue in another laptop, both do well.
Great video, very Informative, direct and clearly shows how to take apart Dell Inspiron 15 3567 and change, upgrade or replace hard drive, RAM, fan and motherboard!!!
Great video! I needed to replace the DC wiring harness/connector - found lots of videos that went as as far as replacing the HDD and stopped there, but yours showed me how to remove the PCB which I needed to do. It would have been great if you then showed the steps to reassemble but since you didn't I just watch your video in reverse in 1 minute sections which did the trick! Repair was successful and the DC wiring harness only cost $10!
Thank you for sharing. I'd like to see how the power button is dissasembled as I removed the plastic cover and now I press the button but it feels it's missing something.
Hi There! We do sometimes power buttons disassembly, but not all the models qualify. Once we get another one with different specs, we will do more detailed video! Check to see if you broke the plastic clip under the power button. Sometimes that feels weird if it's messed up.
Hello, if I'm understanding your question correctly. Caddy does not play any rolly in tech functionality, it's serves as proper attachment to the laptop. Thank you
@@Laptopnuts I read it in some articles that there is different types of sata connection. So therr is a chance that if the sata type in optical drive is sata 1. Will it not maximize the speed of the ssd?
I've got this laptop from someone and it shutsdown after the the boot like in 15 sec. I'veoopned my self and cleaned the fan , the AC charging port works fine, but its the fan tha doesn't work properly and works and stops. Hereby the is not taken away which shuts down the cpu I think.
Also, to give you a better idea of your fan's condition, there is a useful utility called SpeedFan that tells you core temperature as well as some other sensor readings.
It may work for you my experience: i had a client's laptop here and I at first saw that fan didn't worked other than at BIOS. First i ran the Diagnostic Tools ePSA from Dell itself at start and tested the Fan. It worked, so i understood that was something with software. Downloaded the new BIOS at Dell website, installed it through USB stick and made the configurations to boot USB device to install a New System: Turned Off Secure Boot, Turned On Legacy support, Turned Off PTT and Turned Off Windows Boot Manager. Installed a new system from scratch (W10 Pro) and still the fan didn't started until I did something: Stressed the CPU. I've had installed CPU-z and CPUID HWMonitor. With CPU-Z I stressed CPU and with HWMonitor i saw the temperature. Then i understood something: at the temp of 65º C (149 Fº) the fan started to cool down the temperature at the average of ~50º C. I still don't understand why, but it may help you to see that Dell configures it to start automatically at a certain temperature. I am searching now for something that will control it and let it always on, but, for now, the PC is working fine since i installed a new system and working normally. I just want to let the fan always on, if i do so, i will comment again with a hint. For now, i hope i may have helped you. Best wishes!
Found out that Dell controls it by using EC, messing with the parameters is dangerous because may cause fight between what the user command and what the software commands. I've dell inspiron 15 3567 i3 7th gen laptop... Question 01. It has only 4GB ram and there were details in product description that it has only 1 slot for Ram. But in your video i think it has 2 slots... So could u explain what it is and can i add 1 more ram on my lap model? Question 02. I've idea to add ssd by removing cd rom along with hdd and is it possible? Can i add ssd to cd rom while hdd is in lap?
Yes the model on the video has 2 slots, most likely yours too. You should be able to add another same type of 4 GB of RAM stick. Yes, you can add one more hdd/ssd drive in the cd/dvd rom slot. Here is how it looks like www.laptopnuts.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/add-second-drive-to-any-laptop.png
Hello Laptop Nuts, I have this same Laptop and it overheats a lot while I'm gaming, I would appreciate you giving me tips to stop it from over heating.
Hi, I know this is kind of an old video but I was hoping you could help me. I have this laptop and it no longer recognizes the hard drive. I used your video to take it apart to see if the hard drive was just disconnected... It wasn't. Can you tell me what kind of hard drive I need to replace it? I'm a little new at this.
To make things way easier i would recommend upgrading the hardrive (HDD) to an Solid state drive (SSD) as it would give a huge bump to day to day performance. There are videos on youtube telling you exactly how to do that yourself with all the links to order too.
SSD is a nice option, it increases speed. Try installing an SSD in DVD slot and check whether it is recognized. If yes, your HDD part needs an inspection. Then swap HDD with SSD.
