- CLYDE was a computer brain in another galaxy far, far away. Unfortunately for him, he developed a nasty virus called a sense of humour and other "human" characteristics, and was banished from the planet. Eventually he landed on Earth, where he was discovered by Matt (age 12) and his sister Samantha (age 10) who hooked him up to an old jukebox. CLYDE came to life: a joking, fun-loving extrovert in a world that is not quite ready for him.
I KNEW this existed!!! It has sat at the back of my mind as a "maybe it was real, maybe it wasn't" type memory for years. Now if I could just find a full episode.
I have been on the same trip and i have finally arrived to. I'm wondering if its also the actual one i was looking for. lol
This theme song seriously slaps. I remember this show from my childhood but holy hell I didn't appreciate how good this song is until adulthood

The makers of C.L.Y.D.E. seriously need to at least release all the episodes on DVD in both English and French languages or at least make money off of them by uploading them all onto UA-cam in both English and French languages.
The cartoons back then had all the good intros. I didn't watch the show much, but I LOVED the intro music growing up.

Thanks for uploading this! It took me a while to find it, because I always misheard the lyrics "call me CLYDE" as "Comet Clyde", and could find no mention of the "comet clyde" show.

my favorite character was that berserker virus that couldn't say anything other than "attack", and he said it in a way that i couldn't really understand at first.

I used to love this show when I was younger.
That intro was flat-out long, but hey! This is like an anime... but only made in France and with American cartoon style.

I think it's possible I've seen this cartoon before, but my memory of it is very vague. But when I saw that villain in the Slimer! cartoons that had a vacuum cleaner he reminded me of some other cartoon villain with a vacuum cleaner, and the bad guy shown here does look like what I remember. Hmmm...

Where is the French version?
I know this with French singing and I always thought it was very weird because usually we had German dubs for everything.
I never understood a word but maybe now that I know French I could understand it!

Sobre a dublagem eu acredito que foi feita pela dublavídeo. já que a dublavídeo sempre dublava bastante desenhos da Record, tlz pode ser algum outro estúdio de São Paulo.

@@soko4710 cheers. Anything I can get my hands on goes into a digital collection and a vhs archive. I am 100% serious when I say I will pay GOOD money for episodes of thos show. More in english but french will do. I have located a vhs with 8 episodes in french but have no way to Ottawa to get it. Other then that I havnt even had luck contacting the current owners. I'm dying here
