I think it's a good idea, it puts the police within the community rather than separate in a metal box, plus it would make them more accessible to the general public.
You don't really have much cover in your car either, unless you get out and duck behind the engine block. Most rifle and pistol ammo punches right through a car door.

@@scatterbrainart I did, I just threw that out there for some laughter one day, and its from an extract that I heard from one of Jeff Dunhams comedy shows, besides that, I do think that cops with bicycles would be a good idea to hold a suspect once they get a hold of em and when a vehicle arrives. To be honest, every station and every state should have it.

The Bicycles they ride are all wrong. 2:49 look at the small chain rings in the front - looks like 42Tooth max, 175mm cranks, probably a 9 speed. The worst thing is an Aluminum Head tube.
