If you've got chef's set and chef's inspiration, you can do 100-120% bonus on crafting Banana Parfaits and similar food. Did you do the math on whether the bananas would sell better standalone or by selling the foods, which can vary widely in price?
I did all of the math on making banana parfaits and bread and pudding. And unless you have a stockpile of sugar, it is way more profitable to just sell the bananas. Even if you could have 400% cooking bonus.

Yeah it would still be decent. But just remember that gathering is not the best way to make gold. Your better off trying to develop a niche way of making gold which involves less farming and more turnover. Flipping items, buy orders for mats, crafting, sell crafting, etc etc so many different options that are way better than this

Months ago a youtuber called LemoniTV did a really good video on how to make gold with cooking by spamming aptitude crates for cheap and using those ingredients from the crate to create better foods that sell well, then selling any excess / un-needed ingredients. It was a really good strategy, at the moment tho i dont think its quite as viable due to the changes in the game and subsequently the market. Im currently going through the math to calculate if this is still profitable, if it turns it is then the only limiting factor is how much material you can acquire and refine/craft in a span of time. New World is actually quite fun for figuring out these sorts of problems and it rewards you pretty well if you can find your own winning strategy. I think a bit of spreadsheeting and math will get you there.

But i play 3-4 hours maximum a day, sometimes even 2 hours total for two characters. So hour wise crafting makes you earn way more but if you go all in into farming you would earn more especially after expansion crafting changes..
2 questions: where did you get those crates from? I thought you didnt get them from farming resources anymore. And second, logging luck set increase the amount of bananas?
1. you get those crates after you hit logging 250, because 250 is not the cap but there is an aptitute lvl where you get a chest ever 1/3 lvl this is why he has 3 different chest ranging from 1-3 stars. 2. im 99% sure that logging luck influences the ammount of bananas, because since ive bought 3 major trophies for logging i got a good chunk more bananas
If youre farming bananas for gold youre doing the wrong thing. ill leave it at that. i make 25-35 prismatics every 1000 bananas. i can sell prismatics at a 150% rate of selling the actual bananas
no far less with infused silk so cheap just make rugs, I would not lvl up to 245 unless you wanna be ready for season 4. The profit from the banana thing is dead atm or break even@@tungle6962

new world economy = awful now I used to farm Mutations and make 200-500k a week. Once they did the gear drop change it dropped but not terribly...now with expansion and the ease of gearing trying to farm anything for gear to sell is almost pointless...It was ok first week because everyone was gearing. Now youd be lucky to sell anything on the AH, you cant give gear away. Only thing that sells for good gold is PVP gear and trying to farm the mats is damn near impossible on my server...Ive seen 2 mithril nodes since expansion launched and 0 ori...its all farmed out, 100% of the time. Trying to farm to craft to make gold isnt happening. Only people doing it are company members funneling or spending company cash. Solos got fcked...118k for 12 hours of work..thats ALOT of farming compared to what bis/pvp gear costs you couldnt buy 1 item
It will get even worse entire economy is collapsing, i made 5.5m since the expansion but i doubt i would do much more. Even bis gears i craft don't sell as people trying to get cheaper and cheaper. Soon we will be able to craft any bis gear as cheap as 40k which is so ridiculously cheap. I stopped running muts entirely it doesn't worth our time for sure and stopped using azoth inductors as well it would still make you earn around 40-50k but nope i wouldn't bother bursting my arse for 75k tokens to just earn 40k weekly. AGS devs are so visionless they will regret these changes and revert some of them back in future updates but we will see how many people will remain, most of PVE, farmer and crafter community will stop playing..
Its killed that part of the playerbase...I didnt run mutations because I just loved mutations, I ran it because I enjoyed the RNG farm for gear to sell. I like the economy side of things and New World just obliterated theres beyond fixing . You don't need as many gearsets anymore, You can get your BiS gear within a week or 2 and no longer need to contribute to the economy by buying anything else. So the whole economy is supposed to survive off of what? Food, gems, pots? Theres not even a big incentive to get 700 GS...the difference between running 690ish and 700 is almost nothing. Just like you, the first week or 2 i made gold but that just stopped...completely, not 1 thing ive listed this last week has sold, 700 bis items, sitting on ah for cheap, no one wants. @@ggoddkkiller1342

As addition I would've liked to know prices of each item were on your server. i.e. the banana's on my server would've sold for around $60k and the charcoal/greenwood would've been around maybe 5k in total (prices are literally 0.01 for charcoal). Patterns for me are now going for around 3k each. Gives me a way to compare if the method works on my server just as well. Looking forward to future videos!

Do you use proficient boosters too? play music and have logging trophies in your house?. Also make sure you have 300con when logging its a must

It's all about speed and knowing your routes. When you are farming bananas, you are going pretty hard.

for example a 1000 bananas on my server 5.1kg the prismatics dropped are averaging 7.5k gold from aptitude crates

Did you try the cave by Edengrove main city ? It has a few myth nodes in there and they refill in like 2-3 mins
