Angband is gone! It's not sitting desolate somewhere in middle earth. The Valar learned their lesson when they didn't completely destroy Ultumno and sank Angband, along with the devastated lands of Beleriand, to the bottom of the sea. What remains of it is under the watchful eye of Ulmo, Lord of the Sea, and is very much out of the reach of any devotee of evil and misguided adventurer.
Indeed it´s UTUMNO the earlier and even bigger fortess which might still remain under a deep ice cape of the northern pole of Middle Earth which still has unknown secrets on the deepest dungeons within that the Valar didn´t dare to come there when seeking for Melkor/Morgoth. Something evil indeed might remained there as maybe other Balrogs or unknown creatures as the Nameless Things, which seems to move on from there into other parts as they dig tunnels elsewhere. It´s quite interesting how in the Third Age a lot of evil being happened on the remains of the Iron Mountains surrounding Utumno´s fortess as where the Angmar Mountains, the Gundabad surroundings, the Grey Mountains - including the Whitered Heath - and the Iron Hills (though there Dwarves settled up and seems to have rulled on fine)
Morgoth's greatest weapon was also his downfall.... He had a winged dragon so colossal that the Valar themselves lifted it, when Earendil defeated the dragon with a Valar arrow, the dragon's fall destroyed the fortress.... Now imagine the size of the fortress that encompasses 3 volcanoes in it, and the size of the dragon that when falling destroyed everything
I think Angband sunked down as Ancalagon fell over the Thangorodrim tower-mountains surrounding the main fortess and then all got sunked as most of Beleriand - except the islands which are known later on and which none of them was a remain of Morgoth´s domains. However Utumno indeed might be still on the farthest northernt regions of Middle Earth beneath the ice cape there.
@@davidthompson3729 Exactly! Angband was in the far north of Beleriand. All of which was sunk to the bottom of the sea after the War of Wrath. Unless Sauron developed scuba gear, no one will ever get into Morgoth's fortress again.
Sauron could not return to Angband because all of Beleriand sunk and was submerged by the War of Wrath; that saw the final defeat of Melkor and all his minions. What balrogs did remain and survived the onslaught borrowed themselves and delved deep into Middle Earth; they fled and hid themselves and have remain dormant for ages awaiting evil’s malevolent return or some untimely disturbance
With Beleriand submerged after the War of Wrath, Sauron lost his primary stronghold in the West, and the few Balrogs that survived had no place to regroup. They burrowed deep into the Earth, like the infamous Durin's Bane, choosing to hide rather than face certain destruction. It’s almost as if these ancient evils went into a kind of dark hibernation, lying dormant and waiting for an opportunity-or a disturbance-that might draw them back into the world’s affairs. Their presence feels like a lingering reminder of Melkor’s corruption, just waiting for a new evil to stir them awake.
Fairly atmospheric for generative AI; some of it is genuinely a little creepy. But then you notice how columns and arches and stonework and arms and tails and bodies don’t quite connect or line up right… and how many of the squiggly little details just don’t make any sense.
I love AI. I don't have any problem with it. And I think the video is fine. I do question the idea of Sauron staying away from Angbad because he was too scared, considering at times he was in command of it. But ah well. And yes, that it's underwater would be a more likely explanation 😂. You could also do a video about Minas Morgul. It had the same sort of issues, apart from being underwater, that is.

The robot doesn’t know that apparently.
He wasn't a. Maiar as you stated . It's like telling the equivalent that Anakin blew up the Death Star.
In the official lore Angband is buried in the watery depths, but this is a fun "what if"
Gothmog was gone before the War of Wrath. He was killed by Ecthelion during the sacking of Gondolin.
Angband was under the sea after the War of Wrath as far as I know

It's under a lot of water........
Gothmog died before during the Fall of Gondolin.

Morgoth the Supremacer has no equal!
the supreme dark Lord
Gothmog was killed before the War of Wrath, at the Fall of Gondolin.
Awesome love the artwork
Thanks Friend!!
