My boyfriend and I are actually apartment hunting in SF right now, and I’m so jealous of your covid prices. Our budget is around 4k with a parking spot, and there’s not a lot of options right now with that pricing :(
I live across the bridge to the north and have for many years, but it's been pretty astonishing to see how dramatically many friends in SF proper have been able to renegotiate their rent or get better deals in the last year. One friend just got a nice view of the ocean apartment in Land's End for under 3K a month. Utterly unheard of for many years before Covid
Those are nice views! I'm out in the sunset since I prefer a bit more quiet (and I need gardening space) but I always wondered what it would be like in one of the towers.
Yes it is indeed kinda loud living here! The endless trash trucks and traffic from fidi get a little loud at night! But sunset / Richmond area is so nice too especially with all the Asian food out there 😋
Looks like you guys checked out 388 Beale & 399 Fremont. I lived at both, first Beale then Fremont. I left SF last year to move back to TX, but both were cool spots. Between them though, Fremont was the preferred spot. Much newer and nicer. Good vid! Brings back some cool memories for me.
Me and my family live in those tiny buildings at the 1:40 mark. Theyre the affordable units cuz we aint paying 4 grand a month to live in the tall building attached to it on the left
WOW, they are all so amazing, however the one closest to the bridge would be first off our list, as we can imagine the noise being too over powering. Best of luck guys and we will catch you in the next one. ONE LOVE
I am so jealous of your covid prices. I recently finished school down in southern california and am currently looking for apartments in SF for work. My budget is about $3500 / month for rent and i really want a 1 bed and 1 bath somewhere in the city that is either a top floor unit or corner unit.... and it is impossible to find currently... *Cries*
I live in San Diego and luxury apartments are about the same price $3-3.5k/month. It just sucks because no longer can you be a single bachelor like myself and have a nice place. You have to be making at least $200k/year salary or dual income spouse. I'm a native Californian but goddam... it's killing me!
@@nidhishetty7538 that’s awesome! I’m so excited to move to sf. We can probably be a good resource for each other 😄 lemme know if you’d interested in having a chat
I still love my 5-bedrooms home with an ocean view in the Peninsula. It is quiet, but I can take my dog out for walks. I'd toured the Paramount, The Avalon, and I saw 338 Spear right after it was built. I think the rent in SF is still too high. I rather pay mortgage.
for $3,500 you could get a great historic apt in Nob Hill, Pac Heights with hardwood floors, high ceilings and all the classic details of post 1906 San Francisco buildings.
Oh my gosh can't believe you walked in on that poor lady hahaha. Really glad you caught it on camera. 😂 ALMOST LICK IT WITH YOUR TONGUE. 👅😂 Wow, I am blown away by the community work spaces, indoor theaters, and rooftop areas!!! It's such a different lifestyle than we have here in the Midwest where everyone lives in separate houses and we're very shut off from anyone else. I love the communal feel! This was such a well done video you two! Enjoyed every minute of it. And going to watch the next one so I can see what you picked!
@@therndcouple Which means their next lease could go higher, depending on vacancy rates. How old does a building have to be to get rent control protections?
Damn! thats alot of money, here in India its almost 6 months rent (3500 dollars) and I wanted to ask what kind of job you guys do to manage expenses in San Francisco?
What is the last building in the entire video? If you don't mind, tell me the address, please. I have a plan for moving out of my place soon. Thank you so much in advance. 😊
@@angelesgomez318 sure thing! The buildings were Avalon mission bay, 399 Fremont, 340 Fremont, and 388 Beale! Best of luck finding the best apartment! Make sure you bargain for deals!!

Agree!!! Sf apartments are sooo expensive!
yeah but typically a ton of those buildings are run-down and have very old amenities. there's always a trade-off.
I currently live in one of the buildings you featured, and used to live in another building you featured 😃
Cool video. I love it!
Thank you!!! Glad you enjoyed it!
I enjoyed their video as well but now they have a co-sign from Jermaine! That's huge!
that bed on the balcony was probably a roomate's bdrm.
hahahaha that's what we suspect too!
None of the new high rises are rent controlled. So rent can skyrocket after your lease is up.
Love this video!!!

Might have been the noisiest, but the 'lick the bridge' apt. was great.
Hahah yes! We were very close to picking that one!
The views are amazing - and wow the rent is so high for such a small space...and I thought the DC area was expensive...LoL
Thanks! The views were very impressive! SF rents are so notoriously expensive =(
And that’s not even as expensive as it could be!
It was way more before Covid. Supply and demand. Lots moved out
Loves this! Love SF! ♡
Good to see you guys post again! What a pretty city
Thank you! SF is definitely worth a visit one day!
3.5 a month that’s twice my mortgage on a new 2020 home 2000sq ft . That’s cool thow if you got the money why not. Cool video.
I miss paying a mortgage
Where you live?
Such gorgeous apartments for such a good deal (for the bay area haha) ❤️
Not sure rent control applies to the newer buildings
Rent control does not apply to these buildings!

$3500 I rather pay my mortgage better than throw rent 💴 away.
Good luck getting a mortgage + PITI for 3500 in SF.
SF is really beautiful!😍❤️ Well I think I will move to there but in LA instead!
what are the names of the apartments?
Nice views but 3.4k 😩😩😩

Can you name all the condos you viewed please
We toured 340 Fremont, Solaire, Avalon Mission Bay, 388 Beale , Avery 450! Hope this helps =)
No Jasper?
Good luck with that. Because people aren’t leaving San Francisco because of COVID. They’re leaving for other reasons.
I wish you guys took y’all
Time showing the bathroom besides rushing
Parking?
Parking was definitely another budget to account for!!
