Hi Radhika, I'm from Bengaluru and got interested in this course after watching ur video. Finally after Covid, I got a chance to attend the basic skiing course in JIMS in Feb 2024. It was a lovely experience with 60+ new ppl and the kind of training which we get along with Army vibes.. It was only because of your video I got interested in this and here I'm after 2 years attending the course and posting on a video which inspired me to do something which I'd never done in my life and completely fell in love with it. You're still skiing on relatively flat slopes in the Advanced program. The ABVIMAS advanced program is better and more avanced in that aspect. But one gets nice accomadations at JIM. ABVIMAS accomadations are terrible.

Hello there. I was just looking for places to ski in india and came across this video . I never went for training to ski as I taught myself. For the past 6 years I have been skiing 1-2 times a year in the mountains in Siberia with temperatures of about minus 10 - 20 C. I do have difficulties controlling turns and braking at higher speeds like over 40 kmph. I think the training course seemed solid. i would be interested to try it out but I've only be used to 2km tracks, ski lifts and zero knowledge in hindi. would there be an ideal program for me? Also did you (Radhika) get to go on the lift and speed down the slopes at the end. Thanks

Yeah, I just registered for the same and noticed they are training in Sonmarg now, not gulmarg.
