on 2:48, after composite the assets and creating a default state, my adobe XD is not reflecting the change. When I click on the second menu and back to the first, the back and forth is not working. What am I doing wrong? Can someone help me?
@@chellastation Never do anything on Default State. always create a new state and make it your default state.
I do not what is it but it happened with me quite often that now I never do anything on default state..

With your method, when i select the menu 1, and then the menu 2, the menu 1 is closing automatically.
- If someone know how to let the menu 1 open and in the same time the menu 2, 3, 4, 5.. open and each one can be close separately ?

so you want to close them manually.. once you open 1 you want to keep it open until you click on it again..

Make sure to always double-click on the layer of the selected state. otherwise, it replicates all the changes to the default state.

Go to protyping mode, and change all hover effects to "Tap" so it will only open after you click it.

please make sure you are in the dropdown state while editing.. for that click on the component state and double click to the component... same as we do in illustrator to open an isolated state..

Buddy, First you have to select all the Menu 1, Menu 2, Menu 3 including their bounding boxes and hit Command + K or Ctrl + K to convert the entire thing into a component. Once the default state of component is created, create other required states of the components by pressing + icon on the right side of Default state. + icon allows you to create multiple states of a component. For instance, Click + icon and create a state, rename it to Menu 1 (just like in the video) and create all the changes you want to create in that Menu 1 state. While making the changes, make sure you have selected the correct state. Once created, Link one state to the other state through creative interactions (e.g. Tap, Drag etc), you can see all the options in prototyping mode.
It's so lame to have to make 3 separate pages for a simple animation using software that is built specifically for web design.. :D
