It's no stretch to imagine intelligence failures and lack of accountability from leadership in this country. We've got horrific corruption at nearly every level in every agency and nobody is held to account.

Michelle is extremely educated with all of the nomenclature and terminology. Thanks for having her on.

This is INCREDIBLE. This ambush has lingered in my mind for the last 5 years. I have been so angry that nobody was ever held accountable for the horrible situation these men were thrown into. We cannot let our leaders brush away their mistakes, they must be held accountable. This sort of exposure not only raises awareness, but sparks much needed dialogue, scrutiny, investigation, and interrogation of the information we have been relayed about this event.

She deserves a documentary or something. It’s inspiring what she is doing for her husband and his detachment. It’s even more inspiring what the detachment did.

Well done, Mike. Excellent talk. I wish all the best to Michelle and her boys. Unfortunately I'm not surprised by the failure in leadership but I'm blown away by the lack of integrity when it came time to account for those failures. Even more disgusting? Is the folks that released the video. I hope Andy gets his wish some day. If you know, you know.

Accountability/consequences MUST be applied, to decision makers/implementers; MUST have 'skin in the game' for 'agents/players' self-enforcing discipline, integrity, justice.

Teaching morals to commit self-enforcing integrity to humans is a very complex thing, especially to people who perceive themselves to be powerful and wealthy.

Michelle, Have you seen Siege of Jadotville (1960's-Congo) Irish soldiers, made 'game' by French mercenaries, and an old African/Libyan/German leader. Its a paradigm for me now, with your story.
It is my favorite military film to date. Although I just saw Top Gun and the Comedy made me pee my pants.

@@darrenhartigan3033 Do you or do you not need to be rescued from the UN/French?
I do still need to be recused from the larger "Seige of Jadetville" if that could happen. The Irish women never got the 'luck' of a team to 'try and not die with'. Thanks Darren, its just the falllen and people on the internet for me up here in the far north.
