Cool comparison Jeff. I'd have to take the sear zone if I were to choose. I have enough probes to monitor a pit. Congrats to the little Ricer's for the successful track season.
Heck ya Troy, I would lean towards the sear zone also for the same exact reason! This unit can sear up a steaks in a few seconds! Ya the little Ricer's had a great track season and next week football starts, so let the fun begin!!! Time is flying by brother!! Thanks for watching Troy!!
Heck ya Eric!! Monument make a decent grill for sure!!! I got a few cooks on the list, just need to film them eventually!! Thanks for watching brother!!
Thanks Bobbi and now it is time for football!!!!! ha ha I had a nice break just hanging with the family but I am glad to get back to filming again!! Like always thanks for watching!!
Thanks Brian!! Great thing is one is super strong and the other is super fast. So one can lift heavy things and the other can run to the house and grab things I forgot!!! hahaha I appreciate you watching!
Heck ya brother, both are decent gassers for sure!! I took a nice little get away to chill with the family! Glad to get back to filming again and looking at expanding my content even more! Thanks for watching brother!!
Hey Jeff those boys are really growing up nailing the competition and being great assemblers and taste testers for the show! Really good comparison on these grills. It'd be a hard choice for sure to pick a favorite. I have a Mesa 400 assembled in the garage that I still haven't used yet. She's a beauty with the lighted control knobs. Good to see y'all back Bud! Have a great week and cheers!
Ya Rob, I wish I could slow down time brother!! Both of the boys have a certain quality that they bring in both being a son and being an athlete! When it comes to being a son of mine, the oldest can lift very heavy things and the youngest is stupid fast and can run in the house to grab stuff I forgot!!!! hahaha Monument make a dang good grill and I have enjoyed using them both! I got a 4 burner I am testing out right now!!! Thanks for watching brother!!!!
Thanks Kevin!! Heck ya brother, I love that sear plate for sure!!!! Since the boys were young I was always their coach but now that they are in High School, I get to be their fan and I love it!!! A lot less stress on me just watching them compete, instead of correcting them!!! Well ok they still get coached when they get home!! hahaha Football starts next week!!!! Thanks for watching!!
Ya you always have to keep you grill clean! That goes for my offset, pellet grill, kettle, and my Santa Maria. A clean grill equals a good cook! Thanks for watching!!!
Thanks Rod!!! Heck ya brother, very proud of bot my boys and football is right around the corner!!! I coached them since they were little and now I just get to enjoy being a fan!!! I appreciate you watching!!!
Hahahaha well I won't hold my breath on the NFL but my youngest certainly has the ability to go to the next level in track. He still has 3 more years left and taking 3rd in State in the 110m hurdles was pretty cool. Plus he took 6th in the 100m dash. That kid has an extra gear in those legs!! ha ha Thanks again brother!!
Heck ya brother! My youngest took 3rd in State as a freshman, so we have more years of excitement with him. The oldest did ok and hopefully with a little more work he can make it to the big show! But now it is football season and that is their favorite sport!! Thanks for watching!
I have been trying to get one in for a couple months now. Pit Boss has tried to send me one twice and Walmart has canceled the order twice!!!!???!!! My walmart does not have one in stock still??? Weird!! Thanks for watching and hopefully we can get something here eventually!
Howdy sir, happy to see you back again. Great review, both of those look like great grills. I still don't understand the propane haters. For some folks propane is the way to go, especially if all you do is grilling. And in this day of so many folks want to cut corners and do only "set it and forget it" bbq I'm so surprised so few people do rotisserie. I mean it was the original set it and forget it going back to the 50's and 60's when you could get them with electric motors to power them. Anyway looking forward to seeing your next review. How about doing a cook video. Have the boys show how truly a rotisserie cook is to do. Meanwhile you sit next to the kegerator enjoying cold ones 😂. Ricer have a great day.😊🍻👍
Heck ya Victor!!! Needed to take some time off and get a few other things done around here and also had to enjoy some family time!! I love rotisserie anything!! I have fun using them!! I hope to do a cook video soon but I have a couple more comparisons coming next but I do have a couple fun cooks jotted down!!! Thanks for watching brother and I hope you are doing good!!!
Heck ya brother!! I always have time to post videos but time spent with dumb and dumber is coming to an end real fast!! Football starts next week!!! Like always, thanks for watching brother!!
Sir I got a question I ain't going to talk about gas I was going to ask you about a good wood pellet stove but you know where is most pretty good does feel good and rotary should lie and you know don't smoke around the doors like you're talkin about all your videos do you going to have anything out new work is pretty reasonable but you know a price range for about a thousand something like that does real good please let me know if you have a link to a good one and stuff does about everything smoke girls real good let me know thank you
The Pit Boss Pro Series 1150 is a pretty dang good pellet grill that is sold at Lowe's. The Traeger 780 is also a good one for around $1,000. Thanks for watching!!!

Great review Jeff! I would have a hard time deciding between the two! They both have great features!
I agree Rus, both are very nice gassers for sure!!! Thanks for watching brother!!

Heck ya Rich, very nice grills for sure!! Thanks for watching brother!!!
Sear Zone for me!
However, both ticking time bombs imo for grease fires.
*I love the CharBroil Infrared Idea and that’s what I went with!*

@@DeadBrokeBBQ absolutely 💯
I’m in the market and definitely going Weber all the way, they have a track record and you can get replacement parts for years for them.
Weber makes a great gas grill for sure! These are a good budget friendly alternative. Thanks for watching!
GREAT COMP VIDEO AND GO TEAM DEAD BROKE
Thanks Rod!!! Heck ya brother, very proud of bot my boys and football is right around the corner!!! I coached them since they were little and now I just get to enjoy being a fan!!! I appreciate you watching!!!
