Wow, I'd really like to travel on a silent yacht one day.... This is an amazing way of travelling... No more gasoline smell, and engine noise ... Perfect!
Herley Powercat 3400: Hybrid Silent 60: Hybrid Sunreef 80, wrong boat shown. Either way, the sailing and the power version have a diesel engine As you correctly say... the Serenity has diesel engines Well, the Arkup is mostly stationary, else it would quickly run out of juice. Sadly, these yachts cannot run on solar power alone. They can run the hotel load on solar (if you turn the AC down/off) but all of them rely on diesel.
Need much more actual comparisons. Numbers to numbers for comparable diesel yachts. How do they compare for distance use as well as day to day (island hopping)
Serenity is not a Serenity design but a design by Solarwave, which then changed its name and is now called Silent. It is thus one of the first models that Michael Kohler put on the water. He worked for many, many years for his idea. I don't know how Serenity can portray it as his own design? It has a bit of a taint to me.

It would have been nice to add the approximate price of each one.
