Own many happy miles on the 19's.
Thinking of upgrading just in doubt if should go to the Triumph 20 instead of the Glycerin 20.
Any thoughts and differences on energy return, stability, versatility and "softness?
    Thanks!

      Hey James,
First of all thanks for watching our reviews on the Glycerin and Triumph and for the positive feedback.
Great two options, both very good shoes. Very hard to say because they are very similar in so many ways. The Triumph with a slightly higher stack would arguably be a little softer than the new Glycerin 20 but then the DNA Loft v3 in the Glycerin would be a lot snappier and responsive than the Triumph 20.
Stability wise both fall into that same category, being a stable neutral shoe and versatility wise are very similar.
The Glycerin 20 would definitely be the safer option coming from the previous 19 but if you are wanting to try something new then the Triumph 20 is also a very good update and is selling quite well on the shop floor here in Hindmarsh South Australia.
We have a long list of shoe reviews we are wanting to film with a Glycerin vs Triumph vs Nimbus being high up on that list, so make sure to keep an eye out for that!
      Hope this helps,
      Happy Running!

I own both the triumph and glycerin. I feel the glycerin is a little bit firmer with the DNA loft V3. The triumph is a little squishier. I get better energy return from the glycerin. I prefer the glycerin for my foot shape. I’d focus more on upper between the two tbh.

@@Barry-Sweaty OK that sounds very interesting. The Glycerin 19 fit me perfectly. I will try both in a shop to check the upper as you mentioned. Thanks!

I have a concern with Nitro infused midsoles because when we get to winter and gets under 5 celsius, the midsole gets hard as a brick.
I had this exact problem with Hyperion Tempo and Maxroad 5.
Any idea if they somehow fix this issue on Glycerin 20 midsole?

I have glycerin 20 and it is a great shoe but foam is affected by temperature. I think it is an EVA based foam all the Eva based nitro foams are affected by temps. Stick with adidas boost and saucony power run plus for best temperature resistance. They are durable foams that don’t get as affected by cold.
