Love staying at the holiday inn boardwalk. Not the nicest hotel but it’s so nice to be able to walk to so much in that area. From food to rides to shops it’s all right next to you

We have stayed at The Palace multiple times & Holiday Sands South. We have loved both! We just stayed in Cherry Grove about 3 weeks ago and stayed in a villa. It was very nice. Can’t wait to come back. Been visiting for 33 years. ❤

The best resort we have stayed at in MB is the Island Vista. It is in the north end of MB. It is away from all of the crowds and traffic of central MB. But it is a short drive to shopping, entertainment and dining. It is a beautiful resort with a quiet beach.
As far as dining out we loved River City Cafe and Nacho Hippo both in NMB. Loved Captain George’s Seafood Buffet as well.
We were just there in May but we have our next trip booked for the end of September. May and September are our favorite months to go. Weather is nice and less crowded.

I loved The Alabama Theater, Carolina Opry, and Legends in Concert. My absolute favorite show was at The Alabama Theater in 2021. That show was amazing ! My Mom had just passed in April, and I had never been to Myrtle Beach without her. They sang “I can only imagine.” I had to keep wiping my eyes. They did a Lion King tribute. I love The Lion King ! I wish you could purchase the videos. The show was excellent !

We live in Michigan and my young adult kids live in North Carolina so we meet up 2-3 times a year in Myrtle. Place has a special meaning in my heart 😢

Flying down tonight for the weekend! It's an impromptu trip because we really wanted a beach trip this year. We love mini golf and no better place than Myrtle. Plus, we enjoy both Broadway and Barefoot Landing.

we have been coming to MB since our adult children were kids, now we are here again with our three grandchildren and its our third straight year staying at tha Sheraton Broadway Plantation which is definitely kid friendly, we love the location and the resort style pool area.

Captain's Quarters and Coral Beach are also very nice. They both have their own bowling alley, Coral Beach has their own movie theatre. Both have their own gift shops.

I really like Hotel Blue. It is very nice. It has a swim up bar,a restaurant, a lazy river, and a lot of pools.

We were in myrtle beach this past weekend.. we went to mid evil times, ripleys aquarium and ripleys believe it or not..we ate at donalds for breakfast and hot pot for dinner.. the surf was rough but we definitely enjoyed our 4 days there.. we watched ur videos.. thx

We will be staying at The Avista Resort in North Myrtle Beach in October for the 2nd time,thanks to you and Brian my Wife and I went to a few places because of your videos ,our favorites being,The Boardwalk at the Skywhell, Broadway at the Beach, Brook Gardens,and Barefoot Landing,you do a great job and thank you for info and updates❤

We like the Sea Captains House as well. Expect to blow >$100.00 for two people, but worth it!
When we go at lunch it's usually
South Beach. Resort, 3 outdoor pools 1 indoor pool, 2 lazy rivers, 2.water slides basket ball courts sand vollyball court 1 pool bar tons of daily. Activities. Havent had the chance to stay at the new one yet, very very nice rooms. If you are strong willed, do the time share presentation amd get $100 towards one of many options. I used to use ny dads time share till we gave it to a friend.

We just left yesterday from down there and we rented a condo at Windermere it was great and right on the ocean. It’s our second time down there in 2 years and I suggest renting a condo instead of a motel. Feels like you’re at home .

Flame. It was called breakwater inn. Now we stay at the Breakers. Love it.

Hello from Massachusetts🤗. We are heading down in September for 2 weeks staying at the Caribbean resort. Can’t wait to explore Myrtle beach. OMG so much to do it’s a a little overwhelming with restaurants alone😂. I enjoy all your videos. We hope to move just outside of Myrtle beach in a couple years to retire if we love it. We think we will!! We are looking at Conway, Longs, Little River and Loris for homes while we are visiting too. Do you live in any of those communities or recommend one? Conway looks like a quaint town and I love what I’ve seen of Little River.
Little River and Conway are nice. We have not been to Loris or Longs other than driving through. We live in Myrtle Beach so it's hard for us to say which is the best to live in out of those you listed, but if I had to pick I would probably pick Conway. We hope you have a great trip!

Just come back. We camp at Myrtle beach.travel park. It was just to hot and heat advisory I think 3 days. We couldn't do much. The pool was. so crowded. Have come in June before and it's never been this hot

We go to Ripleys aquarium a lot. The other Ripleys attractions we usually do once or twice a year. Just depends on the person I guess.

Coming for our 28th Anniversary we stopped coming on family trips about 4yrs ago when all the shooting were going on .I miss the strip so hopefully it's cleaned back up. DURING OUR Absence We've been to Hollywood Sarasota, Clearwater fort, Myers, of course, always Panama.
And what is it on the West part of Florida saint Marco's island?
So we've seen some beautiful beaches, but I do miss myrtle strip, i'm hoping we can start bringing the family back

We hope you have a great time! For the main strip/boardwalk, we personally recommend enjoying it during the day. There are other fun places to visit like Broadway at the Beach in the evening.

I'm coming in early September to the Beach Cove on 48th. I'm still confused coming from the airport, if we should take bus 17 or bypass 17. Also need nearest grocery store for supplies/
The best way to figure out both of those things is to use a GPS app on your phone for directions. Either Waze or Google maps would work. They can tell you the best way to go to your hotel as well as help you find a grocery store nearby. We hope you have a great trip!🌴

No place like home I don't care where I go I miss Virginia
Went to wicked tuna last week. My gosh is crazy expensive compared to 2nd Ave pier. Only had a burger to offer a fish hater and not a fan of everything closed up, that's why people go to the beach. The shuttles were free when we had family in town 3 years ago. I know it's an all myrtle Beach channel, but good food....... go south of myrtle or inland. Just my 2 cents on that. I would recommend a season pass for the skywheel even if you are only here a week
We haven't been to wicked tuna since it used to be the second Avenue pier restaurant. We enjoyed it when it was 2nd Avenue pier restaurant. What's your favorite restaurant in the area?
@CarmenandBrian we really enjoyed the atmosphere when it was 2nd Ave. Now you sit at the tables all you see is the sky and some sand. Not the ocean. Bummer! Bruisers burgers. New China buffet in surfside. Maggie D's is another favorite. Dirty Don's at the beach was our favorite, but we go to the other ones now because of the paid parking all year round. If the businesses only knew how much money they're losing because of greed and politics......
So what is new? A Jimmy Buffett resort that won't be built for 2 years?
The condos/new shops being built on the boardwalk that we show & yes the proposed Margaritaville site.
