@@JesseUski check out Bousker and Nanorex’s gunship, it looks great. But yeah it’s the same price as the UCS and a lot smaller so I agree that LEGO’s are usually superior at least in value

For the engines on the regular ARC-170, you should replace the light bluish gray round corner pieces with the dark red ones that come in the clone accessory pack. It would make it look 10x better IMO

It's honestly a shame that we only got 2 arc-170 sets. I would also pay a lot for more CIS sets. Wish they gave more love to the separatist warships. Plus, when was the last time that lego released a set with a decent amount of battle droids?
7:16 I would say the 2010 model is also more accurate, based on SWBF2 that cannon is longer like the 2010 model and can angle and turn itself more like the 2010 model
I just built the one from 2010 and I’m so glad I finally own an ARC-170 now. The wing span is much larger than I expected and it looks great! Hope LEGO makes a new one in 2025

You should do a video that compares different custom Lego websites, you could do ones like clone army customs, brick vault, republic bricks, etc. just saying the pros and cons of all, maybe which ones are the best mini figures, best builds, best bang for your buck. I’ve recently been trying to get into that space but it’s really confusing
Yeah, comparing pictures of the two, the legs and head are almost identical to brickvault’s version. Also the tri-fighter, while not as much a blatant rip-off, it does have very similar front and engine designs to brickvault’s model as well
After seeing the prices of retired sets, i've begun looking into the custom market for sets because most of the time they are much better designed and more affordable, especially for mocs.
When I bought the muunilist arc- 170 v2 the engines were a pane to put together and one major white piece for the upper right flap was backwards so I replaced it with a gray one giving it a weathered look
I bought one of these off their website only to be very disappointed. It took way longer than I expected to arrive and when it arrived, my heart sank. The whole set was poorly packaged, I was missing one of the 3 pilots that came with it with an already opened bag and missing pieces. They even messed up one of the pieces. I managed to finish building the ARC 170 but it was still pretty disappointed. This is what happens when you buy from 3rd party websites I guess.
Definitely need to fix the frontend. When u pulled it apart to show the illegal building technique the white plate popped away from the tile on the side panels
I bought 2 arc 170 from republic bricks … great sets great price but missing a few pieces when I emailed them they asked me to look up the pieces on brick link and they will discount my next purchase. I haven’t purchased any more from them since and probably will not in the future

Picked up the Mandalorian's N1 Starfighter last night for $30 ($30 less than Target's retail price, though the set is on sale for $47 right now), and also saw Boba's Throne Room for $70 ($30 less than Target)! They didn't have a ton of variety at Costco, but they did have a few other Lego SW sets and several Harry Potter sets!

If I buy this it’s a nice ARC170 but he will literally send me ship with all used parts and most of the parts will be missing or fake, then when I ask, he will tell me to spend more money on another gunship to get the parts or to Bricklink the parts
This seems like one of the rare cases where the custom set is both nicer and more affordable than the lego version

The ARC 170 is a set LEGO NEEDS to remake. It has been almost 13 years since the last one came out (not counting the microfighter).

Depends on what you mean by decent. The 501st battle pack kinda doubled as a Republic and CIS army builder.

The Vulture Droid looks like a scaled down version of the BrickVault version. They have a lot of the same techniques.

That Vulture droid looks a little too similar to the brick vault version, maybe it's just inspired but the similarities are there
