Thanks guys, this video is awesome. Can you please confirm that with the steering control wires that the negative is next to the front left speaker positive wire and the input wire is next to the yellow constant 12V wire?
Brilliant video thanks - just put a new head unit into my D-Max with no issues and everything worked straight away. Tip about swapping the L & R brackets over worked a treat. Lined up perfectly at the first attempt!

Awesome UA-cam, question installing a Pioneer reverse camera and Pioneer head unit, where do you get connect to the cars reverse circuit?the camera doesn't have a loose wire at the camera end.
I bought my head unit and kit on eBay, I allowed the vehicle to sit for long without switching it on. Now it requires a code, can you assist?
If this unit doesn't play DVD's how do you play a DVD if installed in an LST Izusu MUX with roof mounted DVD player? I take it you can't which means this particular model unit would be a waste to install with a roof DVD player? I ask as I found a LST MUX for sale with DDX9020DABS model player installed and roof DVD. Or is the DDX9020DABS a flip screen with DVD insert?

Hi mate was I'm wondering if the standard mic for calls that come in a Colorado stock will still work with the head unit, instead of installing the one that comes with the head unit to save time. Cheers!
You won't be able to use the OE mic Marty, it has a proprietary connector, the new one included with your new audio unit will perform better anyway :)

My air flow directional control plug did pop off, it seems to be plugged in in but the air flow only blows one way, what is the correct way to seat the the plug.

What if you have a mylink. And the big climate control dial. Is it still kinda the same process?
MyLink is similar but there is one extra module required we do have kits on our website for the Mylink Colorado and the facia is silver for you guys. We will do a video once we get one in shop. If you are in Sydney we can use your car if you are keen?

i have a colorado 7 wagon with mylink set up with android but the nav system failed because they would not do the updates any longer, can it be reprogrammed for Apple play ? regards Peter Exton
Great vid! I had an auto electrician install my aftermarket unit. Now the radio, both AM & FM don’t work - very poor reception. The sparky is blaming my aerial. It worked fine before with the original radio. What could the issue be? Is there an amplifier for the DMAX 2013 aerial that he might have not wired up.
There definitely is Geof, he hasn't connected the factory power antenna wire to activate the OE antenna amplifier.
