      Yes he said $20, but most jobs pay at around $15 per HOUR. If this guy sells around 4 or 5 paintings per hour, that's around $80-$100 per hour. Dats alot of money

    I bought two for $50 still have them years later and admire them. One was a 3 layer waterfall in a serenity forest at night time, and another was a Hawaiian ocean view with dolphins. How is that not a good deal?

      They have these painters in almost every large city in the US from what I've seen. At least in New York, Chicago, LA, and San Francisco. It's very popular on beaches near the strips or boardwalks usually. I've seen them sell for as low as $15

    I love all genres of art. I especially appreciate watching the artist create. I’d give him a C note for that beautiful piece without hesitation. And I’d feel I got a huge bargain for it. So much talent out there. Bravo to this man.

      praing mantis yeah but at 20 even someone that is relatively poor can buy and people are more prone to buy something cheap so if he goes fast enough he can make as much as he would with a $50 price tag

    This is actually a really cool thing to do. You're able to make something cool looking and simple in a short period of time. I started off with just doing a moon on a dark sky, but now I've gotten where I use colors for gradient and better shades. Really fun to do

      If you live near a major city they should be easy to find. I have seen one of these guys in every major city I have been to. Their work never gets old, I am amazed every time I see them. I love it, so beautiful.

    I love these kinds of paintings. To me, more than an imaginary view, they look like a parallel world. I'd like to think that, in an alternative storyline of an alternative solar system, the twins are still dominating peacefully the skyline of New York.

    I got one done at a flea market. He had a few already made for $25. I asked if he could make like a dark scene with a moon and at night. Sure enough. I was so thankful and impressed that gave him $40. Ten years ago and still have it

      I agree with Fin. This is mass production and these paintings are an example how to find short cuts to make something look decent to even great. In the end it's all about the pace and the quick bucks by using templates and predestinated spacethemes.
      For those who don't have any understanding of art or if they lack any artistic skill, this is easily 'great' and they are easily 'impressed'. But for those who really do this as a profession it's a bit of an insult. But hey, creative is creative. Respect for that.
      But really, does this artist care for the money, or for the joy of being creative? I would say the money. And that shows.

      They've probably spent tons of time learning how to do this one design so fast. It's impressive and there's always someone who's seeing it for the first time and wants to buy one, so there's no incentive to change anything

      It's because it's relatively easy to get professional results without too much practice for celestial objects. It's literally the easiest thing to spraypaint. Looks cool, and that's what matters.

    I've seen people make some really cool graffiti on walls, sidewalks, etc., but that's hoodlum art too. This guy can do an excellent portrait of NYC with spray paints, i think this dude deserves better recognition that what people give him!

    My buddy hustled these when we drove cross country...We left indiana with 200 dollars and paid our whole way with busting these out in any city we stopped in....we made the most money at the Santa Monica pier...and at a town called Morrison in Colorado...its right by red rocks amphitheater..We made nearly 300 bucks in Morrison Colorado...Got.a decent hotel room and got to eat and take a shower.. Thanks for your hustle Mike!! You made our trip a bit more comfortable!!
