Why Rich Eisen didn't ask Mark Harmon about UCLA's massive upset of Nebraska in '72 is disconcerting. UCLA snapped a 32 game Nebraska winning streak by a team that was 2-7-1 the previous year. It's like not asking Mike Eruzione about defeating the Soviets.
Hello Mr.Mark Harmon It's Nell May Morgan and I hope you are having a wonderful y! I have been in the facility to help me because I wasn't feeling good but will be going Home this week! Nell May Morgan! ❤
I wonder which CFL team asked Harmon to camp? I believe he never went pro because he was a wishbone quarterback. Harmon never had the opportunity to develop into a passing quarterback
I remember him fumbling the ball when in counted most. A good and successful actor, yes, a real NFL prospect? Hardly, he was a wishbone quarterback with an average arm at best.
Did you play. I played with Rich Gannon at Delaware. He almost never threw in our wing T scheme. He went on to be a super bowl winner. It's more about intelligence. Smart people can learn and adapt if they're motivated.
I remember as a kid his first pass as a Bruin went for a TD.
HAPPY 70TH BIRTHDAY MARK HARMON !!!

Are you sure that was the year? Go back and check the year
@@dttruman no, it _was_ September 1972. I was at the game!
@@warplanner8852 My bad, thought they beat them 22-7. Got the wrong year and teams. Arkansas upset USC in 1974
those were some great NFL players he listed. he is so self effacing and a wonderful speaker
Class act

I feel robbed of greatness because he was really great player but,I am glad for him he seems to have no regrets.
But he was great in The Presidio!
Robbed of greatness? 😳
Awesome JETHRO GIBBS ❤❤❤🎉💘
Jethro Gibbs
Just shows that some treat football as just a game. It is crazy that men get paid millions of dollars to play a game.
Should owners get more of the money or players?
Jethro ... I mean Mark brought Nebraska's 32 game win streak to a halt in 1972. His father was a commentator.
"Comentator" ? His father was "Tom Harmon of Michigan" Heisman winner and the #`1 pick in the Draft.
Would have been the original Pretty Boy in New England
I sure do miss Leroy Jerhro Gibbs.
He turns down the Pats..They drafted Steve Grogan that year.
Rule 9

Gibbs would have never made it in the nfl. Not even close.
UCLA'S greatest QUARTERBACK
U mean Waterfield? Aikman? Kilmer? Maddox? Rosen ? Dante Moore? UCLA QBs started in 8 pro football championship games and won 5
@@richardthelionheart5594 how about Gary Beban who won the only Heisman for UCLA?
Brian Quinn, you got to be kidding. Mark was no nfl prospect.
