Why Rich Eisen didn't ask Mark Harmon about UCLA's massive upset of Nebraska in '72 is disconcerting. UCLA snapped a 32 game Nebraska winning streak by a team that was 2-7-1 the previous year. It's like not asking Mike Eruzione about defeating the Soviets.

Are you sure that was the year? Go back and check the year

@@warplanner8852 My bad, thought they beat them 22-7. Got the wrong year and teams. Arkansas upset USC in 1974

Just shows that some treat football as just a game. It is crazy that men get paid millions of dollars to play a game.

Should owners get more of the money or players?

Jethro ... I mean Mark brought Nebraska's 32 game win streak to a halt in 1972. His father was a commentator.

"Comentator" ? His father was "Tom Harmon of Michigan" Heisman winner and the #`1 pick in the Draft.

I wonder which CFL team asked Harmon to camp? I believe he never went pro because he was a wishbone quarterback. Harmon never had the opportunity to develop into a passing quarterback

Gibbs would have never made it in the nfl. Not even close.

I remember him fumbling the ball when in counted most. A good and successful actor, yes, a real NFL prospect? Hardly, he was a wishbone quarterback with an average arm at best.

Did you play. I played with Rich Gannon at Delaware. He almost never threw in our wing T scheme. He went on to be a super bowl winner. It's more about intelligence. Smart people can learn and adapt if they're motivated.
